beautiful and more alive.

– As you know London is the biggest city in Britain.
– Answer my questions:
- Where is the United Kingdom situated?
- What islands do the British Isles consist of?
- What is the capital of Great Britain?
– Many years ago London was a small town on the river Thames. Now London is a big
city with large squares and parks. About 7 million people live here.
– Let’s listen to the text about “Sightseeing in London”.

– The centre of London is Trafalgar Square. In the middle of the square stands a tall
column. It is monument to Admiral Nelson. There are two beautiful fountains in the
