But what would you like to visit first? Really I don't know. Let's do the following pupils. It will be better for you to work in groups. 1) Make three groups of 5 pupils. Speak with your classmates and try to agree upon the places you'd like to visit first. 1-я группа - parks, gardens; 2-я группа – towers; 3-я группа – museum. Let's organize a Brainstorm. In my opinion it will help us to find out more about London. 2) Write down all word expressions to your topic (1 минута) 3) Now, exchange your papers. Write down some more phrases. (3 раза) Now, every group has it own papers. Be ready to tell your classmates about your topic. Listen attentively and ask questions. Учитель продолжает вместе с учащимися постепенно заполнять Word Web. Don't forget to fill in the Word Web! It was interesting to listen to you. Your questions please. Учитель продолжает вместе с учащимися заполнять Word Web. Right you are! Have you got some questions about towers? Well done! It seems to me you are almost ready for your English-Russian students exchange. So, Madam Tussaud was born in France two hundred years ago, but became famous in England, I should say. She made wax figures and opened a museum. |
I группа – parks and gardens. We are going to visit parks and gardens first. Londoners love their parks and are proud of them. So, you can spend the whole day in the country without living London. London's parks are full of trees grass, flowers and water. You can walk among old trees, relax and admire flowers and plants or take part in many activities such as swimming, tennis, horse-riding. I want to tell you, that the Royal Parks are the property of the Royal family. They include Hyde Park, Green Park, St.James's Park, Regent's Park and Kensington Gardens. It is interesting to know, that Hyde Park is famous for its outdoor entertainments. You can also visit Regent's Park and visit London's Zoo. The oldest London park is St.James's Park. It is beautiful with its trees and flowerbeds. We think it will be better to visit parks and gardens first. P1 – Are parks free in London? P2 – Are there many unforgettable parks in London? It is a big bell. It has a deep tone. Also we want to visit Tower of London. It is a very old tower. It has long and cruel history. It has many buildings: the white tower is the oldest part of the Tower of London. The Bloody Tower has a history of blood. So, first we'd like to visit and to know more about towers of London.
