Цель урока: Расширить знания учащихся о временах года и о погоде.

1. Ввести и закрепить новую лексику по теме.
2. Совершенствовать навыки монологической речи.
3. Читать и понимать текст, содержащий новую лексику и грамматику.
4. Формировать грамматические навыки “Future Simple”.(Будущее простое время).
5. Формировать навыки техники чтения “The Donkey`s Favourite Season”(Любимое время года Ослика).

Организационный момент

1. Приветствие. Сообщение цели урока, задачи. (1 min)

2. Разминка. Good morning, children! (3 min)

First of all I want you to tell me which month we have now. (It is December).

And what day of the week is it today? (It is Friday.)

What date is it today? (It is the 4^th of December.)

How many pupils are in our class today? Let’s count! (One, two, three, …)

What topic have we been working on? (We are working on the topic “Seasons and the Weather”)

Where are you from? – I am from Russia. What`s the weather like in Russia in summer? – It`s warm and sunny. What`s the weather like in Great Britain in summer? – It`s rainy. What`s the weather like in Russia in winter? – It`s cold and snowy. What`s the weather like in Great Britain in winter? – It`s rainy and windy.

So, our topic today is " Seasons and the Weather". We spoke about seasons and the weather at the last lessons. We have learnt many words and expressions on it. Now I want you to remember them. Look here and repeat after me:

– summer, winter, autumn, spring, cold, cloudy, windy, warm, hot, sunny, snowy, rainy, What`s the weather like…?, It`s warm and sunny.etc. (Просматриваем презентацию).

6. Новая тема. Грамматика: Future Simple. Сказка о временах года. “The Donkey`s Favourite Season.” . (15 min)

1) Reading. Ex.19, p.11

Put these verbs in Future Simple: run, jump, sing swim, skip, go, play, read, write, be.

2) Отработка речевых образцов. Ex.22. p.12.

(на доске: tomorrow, next week, next year, next winter, next summer, next spring, in an hour).

3) Сокращенная и отрицательная форма простого будущего времени.

`ll вместо will. We`ll (we will) help our teacher tomorrow.

He will not (won`t) read.

4) Чтение текста с последующим пониманием прочитанного.

And now I want you to read the text: “The Donkey`s Favourite Season”. Ex.20. p.11.

1) The Donkey hasn`t got any green grass in winter. True.
2) Spring comes. It`s rainy and cloudy. False.
3) In summer the children dive and swim. True.

9. Отработка навыка (read and translate) Ex.23. p.12. (4 min)

I will do my homework in an hour.
