Хочу предложить вашему вниманию игру-викторину «Слабое звено» для учащихся 7-8 классов. Цель игры – повысить интерес ребят к изучению английского языка, расширить их кругозор, развивать умения быстро и четко отвечать на поставленные вопросы. Конечно, наша игра отличается от одноименного ТВ шоу, но суть остается прежней – необходимо дать как можно больше правильных ответов на вопросы. Вопросы подбираем несложные, как из разных областей знаний так и страноведческого характера. Однако, подчас даже самые простые вопросы вызывают трудности, т.к. необходимо отвечать быстро. Правила игры следующие. Приглашаются 8 человек. Им по очереди задают вопросы. После того как каждый участник ответил (или не ответил) на 3 вопроса, жюри определяет, кто должен покинуть игру (меньше всех дал правильных ответов, долго думал, нечетко отвечал и т.д. ). Оставшимся игрокам снова задают по 3 вопроса и так до тех пор, пока не останется 2 участника. Среди них проводится финальная игра. Вопросы для финала напечатаны на отдельных листах. Эти листочки свернуты и находятся в отдельном конверте (коробке и т.п.). Участник достает наугад вопрос и отвечает на него путем выбора ответа из 4-х предложенных. Выигрывает тот, кто дал больше правильных ответов. (Учитель должен иметь в запасе еще несколько вопросов на случай, если игроки дадут одинаковое количество правильных ответов). Победитель получает приз. Игру можно провести как внеклассное мероприятие в рамках недели английского языка.
