Ход урока

Организационный момент.

T: Good afternoon, everybody! I am glad to see you. Sit down, please! Who is on duty today?

P1: I am on duty today.

T: What is the date today?

P1: Today is the fifth of April.

T: What day of the week is today?

P1: Today is Thursday.

T: Who is absent today?

P1: Petrov is absent.

T: What is the weather like today?

P1: The weather is brilliant.

T: Thank you. Sit down. And we begin our lesson with the work on the words. I'll show you some sounds and you name the words on the themes "Food" and "Dishes" with these sounds.

(учитель показывает карточки со звуками, а учащиеся должны назвать слово по темам "Еда" и "Посуда", в которых есть эти звуки).

(Учащиеся разделены на 4 группы по 6 человек, выбран учащийся- капитан, на каждом столе задания).

T: Make dialogues with your sentences or continue your sentence. Use the pictures.

(На столах разложены таблички с предложениями и картинки).

Group 1 "Can I pour you some more tea" + картинки (молоко, кофе, мин. вода, горячий шоколад).

Group 2 "Could you pass me a scone, please" + картинки (сыр, колбаса, соль, сахар, конфеты).

Group 3 "I'd like to eat:" + картинки (торт, салат, пицца, сэндвич, мороженое)

Group 4 "Would you like some more milk" + картинки (чай, лимонад, сок, суп)

(Каждая группа готовит мини-диалоги, вставляя новые ЛЕ по теме "Еда").

Конкурс стихотворений

T: Now let's listen to the poems about "Food", "Meals" and "Table Manners" as you like. Учащиеся из каждой группы читают стихотворения наизусть по темам: "Еда. Приемы пищи. Манеры за столом"

Group 1 "Meals".

Breakfast in the morning, dinner in the day
Tea comes after dinner then it's time to play
Supper in the evening when the day is red
Then the day is over and we go to bed.

Group 2 "Table manners"

Hearts like doors will open with ease
To very, very little keys.
And don't forget that two of these
Are "I thank you" and "If you please"

Group 3 "Whole duty of children"

A child should always say what's true
And speak when he is spoken to
And behave mannerly at table
At least as far as he is able

Group 4 "Helping Mother"

T: Now let's have a rest.

T: We continue our competition. There are 4 instructions for making different dishes. You should put them in the right order.

Group 1 "How to make English Tea"

Group 2 "Scrambled Eggs"

Group 3 "Egg and spring onion sandwich"

Group 4 "Toasts"

(на доске даны 4 инструкции по приготовлению различных блюд, составленные из разрезных карточек, учащиеся должны составить инструкции в правильном порядке.)


1. Fill the kettle with cold water.

2. Boil the water.

3. Warm the pot.

4. Put one teaspoon of tea in the pot for each person and one extra for the pot.

5. Pour hot water into the pot.

6. Enjoy your tea.


1. Break 3 eggs and drop them in a bowl.

2. Mix the eggs with a spoon.

3. Add some salt and some milk.

4. Oil the pan.

5. Put it on the stove to heat it up.

6. Pour the egg mixture into the pan to cook it.

7. Put it on your plate and eat.

8. Enjoy your scrambled eggs.


1. Chop the eggs into small pieces.

2. Put the chopped eggs into a bowl.

3. Chop the spring onions. Add to the eggs.

4. Add to the mayonnaise.

5. Mix the eggs, onions and mayonnaise.

6. Add some salt and pepper.

7. Put the fillings on the sliced bread.


1. Cut a slice of bread.

2. Put in the toaster.

3. Wait a minute. It's ready.

4. Put the toast on your plate.

5. Put some butter on it.

6. Put some jam on it.

7. Enjoy your toast.

T: And now each group should cook your dishes following the instructions.

Учащиеся готовят блюда, следуя инструкциям.

T: So we want to look at your dishes. That's great. Your work is wonderful. I think we should try them. I am sure they are tasty and delicious. So welcome to our tea party. Enjoy your tea. Help yourselves. Don't forget about table manners. Let's remember them.

Учащиеся обмениваются репликами по теме "За столом".

8. Слушаем и поем песню "I am a little teapot".

T: thank you for your mini-dialogues. Let's have some break. We know a good song about little teapot. Listen and sing.

(учащиеся поют песню "Я - маленький чайник").

I am a little teapot, short and stout,
Here's my handle, here's my spout.
When I hear the teacups, hear me shout:
"Tip me over, pour me out".
I'm a very clever pot. It's true
There is an example of what I can do
I can change my handle and my spout.
"Tip me over, pour me out".
First you put your right hand on your hip.
That makes the handle that you can tip.
Then you make your left hand form the spout
To put you over, pour you out.
I am a little teapot, short and stout,
Here's my handle, here's my spout.
When I hear the teacups, hear me shout:
"Tip me over, pour me out". 


T: Now welcome to our tea break. Invite our guests to your tables. Serve them. Pour some tea. Help yourselves. Go ahead.

Учащиеся приглашают гостей к столу и пьют чай, предлагают сладости, используя речевые образцы урока и лексику по темам урока.

Подведение итогов.

T: The winner is the Group 3. You have 5. All the rest have 4.
