Цель: Научить рассуждать о преимуществах и недостатках фильмов жанра action.
Задачи:
- Развитие речевых умений на основе творческого применения усвоенного ранее лексико-грамматического материала в новых ситуациях общения; сопутствующая задача – скрытый контроль уровня сформированности речевых умений.
- Развитие способности осуществлять продуктивные речевые действия – к подбору речевых средств, адекватных цели и ситуации, к импровизации, к планированию своего высказывания, воображению.
- Воспитание творческого потенциала личности учащегося, культуры общения во время работы в микро группах, самостоятельности.
Оборудование: УМК В.П.Кузовлева (2006 год), магнитофон, аудиозаписи к учебнику, компьютер, проектор, экран, два ватмана, ножницы, маркеры, клей, картинки из фильмов жанра action.

I. Организационная часть

II. Warm – up activities
We have an interesting topic for discussion, but first I’d like you to tell me what lesson you would like to have. Give characteristics using just adjectives. For example: interesting, funny, useful, unusual...
(Учащиеся говорят, какой урок они хотели бы иметь, используя прилагательные, учитель записывает их на доске в столбик)
I’ll do my best to make the lesson useful, interesting, unusual... (повторяются все прилагательные, произнесенные учащимися.)

Учащиеся работают по цепочке рассказывают какие фильмы им нравятся (не нравятся).
Учитель записывает жанры на доске – Action, western, comedy, horror, thriller, melodrama, musical, cartoon, documentary, fantasy.
IV. Обозначение проблемы
Now we see that tastes differ. You are the same age but you like different kinds of films. Let’s listen to the conversation of 2 friends who visited the cinema. Try to answer the questions.
Did they enjoy the film? Or not?
What is the genre of the film?
Ребята слушают аудио запись и отвечают на вопросы.

Let’s discuss pros and cons of action films.
V. Планирование и составление рабочего варианта проекта
Will you divide yourself into two groups? Those who like action films go to the right. Those who don’t go to the left. One group will show us the advantages and the other one will show the disadvantages of this genre.
Each group will make a project giving arguments for or against these films. Then the groups will choose the speakers and the speakers will discuss pros and cons of action films. Open your student’s books on page 185. There is a table which can help you to make your projects. I will also give you some pictures and some expressions. You may cut them out and stick them on the sheets of paper and present your projects. Surely you can add your own arguments and write them down.
Учащиеся обсуждают в группах проблему, выбирают подходящие для их группы аргументы за или против боевиков, наклеивают на ватман в виде коллажа. Маркерами дописывают свои аргументы.

VI. Презентация проектов
Now choose the speaker and present your projects. One will give arguments for action films, the other will show arguments against them. Other students can ask questions and give their comments too. Don’t forget to use next phrases while presenting your projects.
