  1. расширение кругозора учащихся;
  2. знакомство учащихся с миром кино.

Воспитательные задачи: воспитание эстетического вкуса к миру кино.

Развивающие задачи: развитие памяти, внимания, мышления, интереса к английскому языку.

Оснащение урока: CD (“Notting Hill”), аудиокассета (information brochure), афиша, цитата.

Ход урока

I. Подготовка учащихся к учебной деятельности на английском языке.

1) Организационный момент.

2) Речевая зарядка.

Today we are going to speak about films? Film stars and even we’ll watch a film. But first of all I want to discuss such a quote:
Drama is life with the dull bits left out”.
(Alfred Hitchcock, British film maker)

Do you agree with this saying and why? If you don’t agree, give your version of understanding life…

As you see, some people compare our life with drama, a kind of films. What films do you know? I mean, besides drama.

II. Отработка ранее введенного языкового материала и овладение различными видами речевой деятельности.

1) Развитие навыков письменной речи (включая аудирование).

As I see, you know different kinds of films. And today I invite you to travel around the wonderful world of cinema. I think the best variant is to go to the cinema. But before going what should we know?...Yes, you are right. We should know which films are showed. For this purpose let’s listen to the radio “Europe plus” and then you fill the gaps. Listen to the radio attentively. (После прослушивания ребята должны заполнить рекламную афишу, вставив пропущенные слова)

2) Развитие навыков аудирования.

According to this information brochure I think that “Notting Hill” is an interesting film. That’s why let’s watch this film. But after it you should answer some questions. Now we see one of the strips: the day when Anna Scott and William met each other.

  1. Where is William’s house situated?
  2. Why did Anna need a bathroom?
  3. What did he offer her first?
  4. What did Anna leave in his house?
  5. Who came at the end of this strip?

3) Развитие навыков монологической речи.

Did you like this film? Do you like an actress Julia Roberts? And Hugh Grant? What’s your favourite actor or an actress? … Now we divide into two groups. You choose any actor or an actress you like more and make up an advertisement. Prove that your actor is the best one in the world.

III. Заключительный.

1) Подведение итогов.

I see you are keen on films and like to go to the cinema. You know famous film stars and you worked very well. I’m satisfied with your work. Thank you for your lesson.
