Good morning, my dear friends! I am glad to see you at our English lesson. We have talked a lot about the Commonwealth of Australia. We have spoken about the political systems in this country, about big cities, about the population. At this lesson we'll speak about fauna of the continent of Australia.

The land of strange birds and beasts
Australia is separated from many countries. Today we'll speak about fauna of this continent.
The animals in Australia have a lot of original, and they are interesting. Do you agree with me?
Учащиеся рассказывают об известных животных Австралии, показывают свои рисунки, делают сообщения.
Our country's fauna is extremely rich, numbering great amounts of various mammal species, species of birds. But today animals of the whole world disappear. We know that polluted air, land and water are harmful to animals. People don't realize how much animals suffer. The truth is that we use animals or part of animals for jewellery, clothes, shampoos, soaps and cosmetics. We all children and grown ups must take care of animals. The people all over the world do everything to protect their nature.
6. Релаксация.

Let's have a relaxation. Sit comfortably and close your eyes, please. Imagine that you are in a forest. It is summer. It is a lovely day. The weather is wonderful. It is warm. The sun is shining brightly. The warm wind is blowing. The sky is blue and cloudless. Everywhere you can see flowers. They are red, blue, and yellow, white. Trees are green. The ground is covered with green grass. The birds are signing. You are enjoying this lovely day. You are very happy.
7. Работа в группах.
Каждая группа получает текст " The strange world of Australian animals". (приложение 2)
Первая группа составляет вопросы к тексту.
Вторая группа- диалог.
Третья группа - полилог.
Четвертая группа готовит пересказ текста.
8. Работа с тестом "Multiple Choice Test on Australian Fauna". (приложение 3)
