Коммуникативная методика ставит своей целью формирование у учащихся смыслового восприятия и понимания иностранной речи, а так же овладение языковым материалом для построения речевых высказываний. Во время обучения основной акцент делается на развитие разговорных навыков, а грамматические структуры вводятся по мере необходимости, в связи с какой-либо темой, обогащая разговорную практику. [1]
Преподаватель моделирует на уроке как можно больше ситуаций общения. Таким образом, у учеников стимулируется желание высказаться. Учащимся предлагаются задания, в ходе выполнения которых развиваются все основные языковые навыки.
Коммуникативными заданиями можно считать задания с реальным жизненным обоснованием, которые побуждают учащихся приближать их языковое поведение к ситуациям реальной жизни.
Диапазон упражнений, которые могут применяться в рамках коммуникативного подхода, практически не ограничен. Диалоги, ролевые игры, моделирование ситуаций дают возможность учащимся самостоятельно оперировать изучаемым языком. Поскольку данные виды деятельности отражают реальную действительность, они затрагивают чувства учащихся, используют их воображение, качества личности. К коммуникативным заданиям можно отнести загадки и головоломки, решение кроссвордов, составленных одноклассниками, обмен письмами, написание рассказа, викторины, психологические тесты, игры типа “20 вопросов”, выполнение рисунков по инструкциям партнёров, нахождение различий на рисунках и другие.
Коммуникативность подхода в курсе New Millennium English проявляется в том, что он представляет собой последовательность специально организованных ситуаций, требующих от учащихся вступления в речевую коммуникацию.
В представленном плане-конспекте урока по учебнику “New Millennium English 5” Деревянко Н.Н. предложены такие коммуникативные задания как: ролевая игра, микро-диалоги, викторина. Для успешного проведения урока необходимы следующие технические средства обучения: лингафонное оборудование или проигрыватель, компьютер и проектор. Цели:
Учебная: совершенствование лексических навыков (отрабатывать и активизировать в речи лексические единицы и использовать их в микро – высказываниях и диалогах).
Развивающая: учить работать в парах, пользоваться картой Лондона.
Воспитательная: прививать интерес к культуре, достопримечательностям Великобритании.
ХОД УРОКА
1. Организационный момент.
- Good afternoon, class. How are you?
- Who’s on duty today? What date is it today? Who’s absent?
2. Речевая зарядка.
- What day of week is it today? What month/season is it? What season is after spring? Do you like summer? Why? We all like summer because we have summer holidays and we go to other towns and cities.
3. Введение в тему.
Today we are going to speak on London. It is one of the oldest and biggest cities in England. There are many museums, theatres, parks and shops in London.
4. Фонетическая зарядка. На доске транскрипция слов, обозначающих достопримечательности Лондона.
В двух колонках даны слова, из которых надо составить достопримечательности Лондона.

Hyde Park is the most famous park in London. It’s a pleasure to watch Londoners walk and jog in the park. There are no signs like “Do not walk on the grass.”
The Tower of London is a very big castle. It is the oldest place in London. It was a castle, a palace, a zoo, a prison and a museum. The most famous things in the Tower of London are the Crown Jewels.
