Начало урока: приветствие, сообщение темы и цели урока.
- Dear boys and girls! We are going to read and translate the text "Properties of an electric current". From this text you'll come to know about electricity, magnets, what an electric current is, what effects a current can produce.
Фонетическая зарядка.
- Произнесем следующие слова, обращая внимание на ударения.Pronounce the following words, mind the stresses: to suspend, property, mutual, substance, to exert, to convey, evidence, to decompose, curcuit, to effect, to magnetize.
Лексическая зарядка.
а) Переведите следующие слова на русский язык.
- Translate the following words into Russian:
property - свойство
evidence - доказательство, данные, основание
to suspend - вешать, развешивать
to exert - вызывать (напряжение), проявлять (усилия)
to decompose - разлагать на составные части
to deflect - отклонять
mutual - взаимный
accurate - точный, правильный
б) Найдите английские эквиваленты следующим словам. Find the
English equivalents for:

Р1.- A suspended magnet will be deflected.
Р2.- A force is exerted on the magnet.
Р3.- This substance will generally be acted upon by a force.
Р4.- These effects are found to be produced.
Р5.-The latter expression is generally adopted.
