Учебник «Way Ahead 1» включает в себя 20 разделов, в каждом из которых изучается материал по многим темам: «Rooms and Furniture», «Family», «Animals», «Appearance» и другие.
Подготовка к итоговому уроку начинается на первом занятии изучаемой темы. Перед учащимися ставятся задачи:
- овладеть лексикой по данной теме;
- усвоить грамматический материал;
- уметь высказываться по пройденному материалу.
Основным материалом, подлежащим усвоению, является материал учебника, но работа с ним организуется так, что упражнения перестают быть упражнениями, а становятся речевой ситуацией и выполняются часто в форме игры. Учащиеся охотно трудятся, легко, осмысленно и прочно усваивают материал и, главное, умеют им практически пользоваться.
Цель урока: научить ребят составлять монологическое высказывание (рассуждение в форме характеристики) по теме «животные»
Задачи урока:
- активизация лексики по теме;
- развитие умений и навыков устной речи с опорой на известные детям модели;
- развитие памяти, умение обобщать, делать выводы;
Развитие творческих способностей.
Оборудование урока: стенгазета, рисунки с животными, игрушки – животные.
Раздаточный материал: карточки для выполнения заданий по чтению, кассета со звукозаписью (песня «The Frog Is Green, Green, Green»).
