Цели и задачи урока:
Развивающая:
- семантизация лексического материала по теме «How do you treat the Earth?»
- тренировать учащихся в употреблении слов и выражений по теме урока, тренировать употребление предложений в страдательном залоге;
- тренировать учащихся в развитии навыков монологической и диалогической речи, навыка аудирования информации;
Образовательная:
- ознакомить учащихся с новой информацией познавательного характера об экологии родного края;
Воспитательная:
- сделать вывод о том, какую помощь природе мы можем оказать; что стоит и чего не нужно делать, чтобы не навредить экологии;
Оснащение: учебник «Happy English 2» (авторы Кузовлев В.П., Лапа Н.М.), презентация «The Earth is our home» (приложение), учебные карточки.
Ход урока
1. Начало урока:

The theme of our lesson is “How do you treat the Earth?” Today at the lesson we will discuss the problems of the environment and then we will speak about the nature of our region.

It is very important to keep the world healthy and strong. Every kid can do something to help nature. It is a wise rule – to keep the country tidy, to water flowers and trees, to keep dogs under control. Never break plants and baby trees. We must always put rubbish in a rubbish bin. We should remember the three Rs: reuse, reduce, and recycle. Today the environmental question is very actual. The water and air are polluted, the forests are cut down. We should help the Earth. We should keep the planet healthy. I also can do all my best to save the Earth. I can feed the birds, plant trees. I always put rubbish in a rubbish bin. I help my parents to water flowers and trees, plant in our garden.

Our region is not very large. But there are many villages: big and small, there are many rivers: the Kan, the Kungus, the Agul and many small rivers. The cleanest river is the Agul. The Kan and the Kungus – they are not very clean. So we must protect the water from pollution. Please don`t throw rubbish into the river!
There are many kinds of plants and trees in our region: birches, pines, fir-trees, asps. There is a rare kind of the birch: the black birch.
The forest is the home for many birds and animals. In our region live many kinds of animals: bears, foxes, wolves, squirrels, hares, boars, lynxes, elks. The boars are in danger in our region because of wolves. People must take care of our rivers, forests, animals. It is our future.
