- развитие навыков артистизма;
- воспитание интереса к англоязычной литературе и предмету "иностранный язык" в целом
Оформление сцены: декорации с изображением дворца, костюмы литературных героев, аудиозаписи фонограмм песен и бальных танцев, реквизит для проведения конкурсов - шарад.
Сценарий
(в 3 - х картинах с прологом и эпилогом).
Пролог.
(Звучит музыка. На авансцене появляется фея, оглядываясь, где она находится, обращается к зрителям)
Фея: Hello, I'm fairy Bess. I'm from the Fairy family, I' m the youngest. It's a pity. I like fairy - tales very much. It occurred to me that I could gather some characters of the English stories and fairy - tales : together. Just imagine, what would come out of it. I think, it would be splendid. Let them meet each other in some magic land, in some fairy King's palace. I believe it's a good idea but my power is too limited - only till 12 o' clock in the evening. Remember it! So I begin the magic. One - two - three:
(Взмахивает волшебной палочкой и прячется. Занавес открывается. На троне сидят король с королевой, рядом находятся их сопровождающие - поэт и фрейлина)
Картина первая.
Королева: It's time for guests to arrive. (Обращаясь к фрейлине) Be right here, Anny.
Фрейлина: Yes, your majesty. (Фея приседает перед королём и королевой в реверансе)
Фея: Good evening, your majesties.
Королева: Oh, hello, my darling.
Король: Glad to see you, Bess!
Королева: It' so good, you're already here. Take your seat, please. (фея садиться рядом с троном)
Король: Suppose, you've prepared some magic tricks for us.
Фея: Of course, your majesty. Some competitions.
Королева: Today we have so many guests. It's a great party. (Обращаясь к глашатаю)Have they arrived?
Глашатай: Yes, your majesty.
Королева: Let's invite them and start!
(под музыку гости проходят парами и занимают свои места для представления, глашатай объявляет их; проходя перед королевой и королём пары приседают в реверансе)
Глашатай: Tom Sawyer and Aunt Polly from " Tom Sawyer's Adventures" by Mark Twain.
Arrived!

(гости занимают свои места, глашатай озадаченно осматривает зал)
Глашатай:Mary Poppins from "Mary Poppins"(на сцену "взлетает" Мери Поппинс) is coming: Arrived!
(Мери тормозит непосредственно перед троном и замирает в поклоне)
Мери Поппинс: Oh, I' m very sorry, I'm late. The wind was so slow. You know, I've been brought by the wind. I was in a hurry and could stop just now.
Королева: Don't worry. You've arrived just in time.
Король: Sit down, Mary and have a rest. Please, my dear friends, we start our ball.
Королева: Dances! Let's dance! Music, please!
(все герои перестраиваются для танцев, включается музыка менуэта)
Картина вторая.
(Идёт танец. Не окончив его, Том Сойер усаживает свою даму и, пробираясь за спинками сидящих тёти Полли, своей дамы, а также разговаривающих Шерлока Холмса и Доктора Ватсона , стреляет из рогатки и попадает в танцующую Мери Поппинс)
Мери: Oh, what's it? I've been shot. Who has done it, I wonder?(обращаясь к партнёру по танцу) Don't you see anybody, Tim?
Тим (поэт): Miss Poppins, I see nobody, who could do it.
(в это время танец заканчивается, все собираются рассаживаться, но королева привлекает их внимание, указывая на Тима и Мери Поппинс)
Королева: Dear friends, today we see here a very famous poet Tim Brandberry.
Тим(кланяясь всем): Thank you , your majesty. (все хлопают)
Принцесса Алисия: Oh, please, could you recite us something of your own?
Все: Please, you are welcome..
Тим: Well, let it be:" Blue is the sea"(читает известное детское стихотворение)
Blue is the sea, green is the grass,
White are the clouds as they slowly pass,
Black are the crows, brown are the trees
Red are the sails of the ship in the breeze.
(Все хлопают, хлопая, от всех отделяется Винни Пух и подходит к Алисе - В- Стране - Чудес. Герои рассаживаются и шушукаются. Фоном звучит музыка.)
Винни Пух: Hi, Alice! You know, something is wrong here. Mary Poppins is angry!
Алиса: Stop, Winnie, she is so kind!
Винни Пух: I say, she is!
Алиса: You are an old silly bear! While I was running here I saw a funny rabbit, haven't you seen it here?
Винни Пух: Oh, Alice:Look! There is no public crier here. May be, she is angry with him?!!
Алиса: Who? She?
(Винни, махнув на неё рукой, уходит от Алисы. Она разворачивается в другую сторону. Том в это время хочет выйти из места, где он прятался, но тут его начинает искать тётя Полли)
Полли: Tom, where are you, naughty boy?
(Не найдя его, тётя Полли проходит к Мери Поппинс, и та начинает ей усиленно что - то объяснять. В это время с трона встаёт король. Выводя на середину сцены фрейлину королевы, он объявляет)
Король: Today Anny Blues is here. Let's greet her. Could you let us sing to your songs, dear?
Энни: With pleasure, your majesty!
(фрейлина поёт известную песню "Позволь мне быть твоей любимою")
Let me be your sweetheart, I'm in love with you,
Let me hear your whisper that you love me too,
Let the love - light glow in the night so true,
Let me call you "sweetheart", I'm in love with you - 2 раза
Все: Fine, thank you!
(Все хлопают. А тётя Полли наконец - то видит Тома)
Полли: Tom, you are a naughty boy, I'm coming. Don't hide from me.
Том: What's wrong, Auntie? Why are you so sad?
Полли: Sad?!! You've shot miss Poppins!
Том: Miss Poppins? I like miss Poppins so much, she is so kind! She can do anything for children. She speaks different languages. Do you think it's my fault? Oh, Auntie!
Полли: Well, my boy, I trust you. But who could do it?
Том: I don't know. May be, the king?!!She was quite near him when dancing:
Полли: Hush! But... How do you know?
(Том убегает танцевать польку с Мери Поппинс. Ближе к зрителям выходят Холмс и Ватсон, наблюдавшие за Полли и Томом)
Ватсон: What d'you think they've been discussing so loud?
Холмс: This naughty boy shot Ms Poppins.
Ватсон:How do you know, Mr Holmes?
Холмс: Just look how he is dancing with her now. He is smiling to her.
Ватсон: What's from it? I smile to every beautiful lady.
Холмс: It's elementary, Dr. Watson. After the 1st dance he disappeared because, certainly, he hadn't wanted to shoot her. It was an accident. Aunt Polly understood it.
Ватсон: By the way, where is the public crier?
Холмс: Probably, he is out to meet some important guest.
Ватсон: Let us not tell about it Ms. Poppins. I believe it's time for games and riddles.
Фея: Dear guests, who wants to take part in our competitions, please, divide into 2 teams!
(Гости делятся на две команды и встают по обе стороны от феи)
Картина третья.
(Фея встаёт возле находящихся на сцене и накрытых покрывалами столиков с реквизитом для конкурсов, затем открывает их)
Фея: Let's start! You name the subjects I have and then call the name of the non - English literature character. Thus we'll see if you know anybody except you.
(команды по очереди берут предмет и называют героев:a nose - Pinoccio, a red cap - little red Riding Hood, an onion - Chipollino, a very small shoe - Thumbolina,a tail - Mermaid, a boot - the cat in the boots. По каждому фея говорит:That's OK. Thanks)
Королева (демонстрируя взятые из - за трона 2 листа бумаги): I also have a competition for you. Here are two pieces of paper. You see some blanks in them. Please, put in the missing words and read the whole text. But first look at the name of the character. You have one minute for it. Thus we' ll see your spelling.
(под музыку герои выполняют задание, потом зачитывают, что у них получилось)

Король: Dear friends, I also have a test for you. It's a magic test. You'll hear a voice. Please, listen to the story and call the name!
(включается аудиозапись рассказа: I am a girl. I have a father. I have no mother.
I have a step - mother and 2 sisters. They are bad. They are not kind, they do not love me. Poor me!)
Все выкрикивают: It' Cinderella!
(На этих словах глашатай выводит Золушку)
Глашатай : Cinderella from "Cinderella" by Charles Perrot
Золушка: Hello! How are you?
Алисия: Fine, thanks. We are so glad to see you. Today we are having such a nice ball. Let's dance with us!
Золушка: Well, let's dance and sing!
(Под музыку на мелодию песни о жуке Золушка образовывает круг. Начинает петь. Потом все герои танцуют парами, король с королевой хлопают в ладоши)

(Сразу же после музыки про жука играет менуэт, пары начинают танцевать. Но тут часы бьют 12. Золушка убегает, остальные герои замирают.)
Эпилог.
(тихо играет музыка)
Фея: It's 12 o'clock. The ball is over. It' s time to go into the books. One - two - three!
(музыка становится громче, пара за парой выходят на середину сцены, произносят свои слова и уходят)
Алисия и Ватсон: It's a pity. The ball is over. Good - bye!
Полли и Холмс: Our time is up. See you!
Мери Поппинс и Винни: We are so pleased! Good - bye!
Алиса и Том: We were glad to see all the friends. Bye - bye!
Король с королевой(обращаясь сначала к фее, а потом к зрителям): Everything was splendid! Thank you, fairy Bess. Good - bye for the present!
Фея (выходя с глашатаем на середину): I think, everything was all right. My dream is real now. I go away and thank you for attention. Good - bye!
(громко играет музыка, представление окончено.)
