Ход урока

I. Организационный момент, введение темы

Hello! I’m very glad to see you. How are you? During some lessons we read the text and spoke about London and its places of interest. Today we’ll watch the video film, which consists of three parts:

Part I. Buckingham Palace.
Part II. The Tower of London.
Part III. St. Paul’s Cathedral.

II. Warming up.

Answer the questions:

  1. What is the capital of Great Britain?
  2. Are there any beautiful parks in London?
  3. There are three main parts of London. What are they?
  4. Where is Trafalgar Square?
  5. Where is the official London residence of the Queen?
  6. What is Downing Street Famous for?
  7. Where is the London Zoo situated?
  8. Have you ever been to London?

III. Video watching.
