В настоящее время в нашей стране происходят большие перемены. Человек постоянно учится, получает новые знания, кроме того, человеку нужно общаться с представителями другой культуры посредством языка, также очень важно, чтобы человек в нашем государстве воспитывался, как гражданин своей страны. Знание культуры своей страны, своей малой родины очень важно. Эти знания нужно получать в детском возрасте, нужно уметь сообщать о них на языке представителя другой культуры.
Целью работы учащихся являлось создание мультимедийного пособия для учащихся средних классов и создание экскурсионного материала о нашем районе и селе.
К открытому уроку " Мой край родной" была собрана информация для экскурсионного материала о нашем крае. Информация подбиралась так, чтобы при переводе на английский язык она была понятна для учащихся средних классов. Для презентации учащиеся использовали иллюстративный материал, фотографии нашего села, материалы краеведческого музея.
Урок " Мой край родной" представлен в форме телевизионной передачи, где ведущими рубрик были сами учащиеся. В "программе" были представлены следующие рубрики: " География Первомайского района", " Флора и фауна", " История нашего села", " Достопримечательности села", " Спортивная жизнь" " Музыка в нашей жизни", " Прогноз погоды". При проведении " Программы" учащиеся не отступали от правил ведения диалога , ведущая программы беседовала с ведущими рубрик. Так как телевизионная программа предусматривает наличие рекламы, в ходе " передачи" были представлены рекламные ролики о действующих и будущих объектах села. В ходе подготовки и проведения открытого урока мы пришли к следующим результатам: повысился интерес к предмету "Иностранный язык", повысилась активность на уроке, пополнился словарный запас учащихся, улучшилось восприятие речи на слух, преодолели психологический барьер при говорении на иностранном языке при публичном выступлении.

Today we are going to tell you about our motherland Pervomaiskoye about geography and history, places of interest, music and sport, nature, weather forecast. Our correspondents Irina Mezhakova, Nadezhda Lebyodkina, Ekaterina and Anastasiya Istegechevs, Elena Gurskaya, Anzhela Glazirina, Anna Zaharova, Valentina Lizunova, Yanina Bazhina will help us to lead these programs and me, your leader, Nadezhda Seleznyova.
Leader: As far as I know, our village Pervomaiskoye situated in a very beautiful place.
Ira: You are right. Our Pervomaiskoye is located on the right bank of the river Chulim.
Leader: Of course, our village is the centre of a large district.
Ira: Pervomaiskoye District is situated south of Tomsk Region and bordered on Asino District, Ziryanskoye District, and Etudes District. The area of Pervomaiskoye District is 15 600 square kilometers.
Leader: I wonder are there many rivers and lakes on the territory of the district?
Ira: Yes, of course. The main rivers are the Chulim, the Chichka-Yul, theUlu-Yul and a beautiful Lake Chertani; there are many little rivers and lakes and many people like fishing because there is much fish in Lake Kuendat and Lake Belay.
Leader: What can you tell about the population in the district?
Ira: As far as I know 5000 people live here. There are many little and large villages, most of the population are Russian but Estonian live in the village Beryozovka and this village is the centre of Estonian Culture.
Leader: I wonder what the main occupation of the Pervomaiskoye district is.
Ira: As far as I know the main occupation is the agriculture and wooden industry.
Farmers grow wheat and produce milk for the inhabitants of the villages and the region.
Leader: Our land is very rich of natural resources: wood, wild animals, green fields, rivers, lakes and of course there are many different animals in the forests Good afternoon, Anna!

Anna: To my mind, nature of our district is very rich and unique. It is very rich of wood. There are many kinds of trees: pine trees, fur trees, birches, poplars.
Besides, our forests are rich in berries: raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, and blueberry.
Wild animals and birds live in the forests and rivers: a brown bear, a hare, a squirrel, a wolf, a fox. In the rivers and lakes there is much fish. I can say that some inhabitants like fishing and hunting

Anna: You are right. Today many animals and birds are in the Red Book: a hedgehog, a lake frog, a green goose. Ecological problems are very important today. We can see much litter in the forests and on the banks of the rivers, lakes and inhabitants of our district must take care of our nature.

A new cafe! Some pupils from our school learn opinion about the building of the new cafe for children, because in the village there are no place for rest, there are only night cafes and children can't visit them. May be very soon I will be able to visit this cafe with my friends. I'm very glad. Farming, agriculture, news from schools, commercial and other information.
Leader: OK, I hope this project will be realized. We will be able to visit this cafe and eat ice-cream, cakes, biscuits and drink coffee, tea, Coca and lemonade. Besides there are many places of interest, and our correspondent Nadezhda will tell us about them
