Тип урока: Урок фантазирования.
Триединая цель урока
- Обучающая: совершенствование лексико-грамматических навыков учащихся по теме «School».
- Развивающая: развитие переноса навыков в новую ситуацию.
- Воспитательная: воспитание положительного отношения к иностранному языку, понимание потребности пользоваться им как средством общения.
Задачи урока:
- Научить систематизировать лексические знания по теме «School».
- Применить полученные лексико-грамматические знания и навыки в диалогическом и монологическом высказывании, используя изученные времена: Present Simple, Future Simple.
- Развивать языковую догадку, творческое мышление учащихся.
- Воспитывать толерантность, эмоционально-оценочное отношение к окружающему миру.
Оборудование: наглядные пособия по теме «Future School», ТСО, творческие работы учащихся, ситуативные карточки.
Ход урока
1. Оргмомент
(Звучит музыка из фильма С. Кубрика «Космическая Одиссея»)
Teacher: Listen! This is our time machine! Let’s send it to the future and see what will happen!
Pupils: Ok! Let’s do it!
2. Вводный этап
Teacher: Where are we now?
Pupils: At school in the classroom.
Teacher: And what is school?
Pupils: Subjects, teachers, books….
3. Систематизация лексики по теме «Школа»
Teacher: OK, let’s take a new idea, a spider gram! (Учитель знакомит учащихся с понятием a spider gram, рисует на доске спайдерграмму и помогает учащимся конструировать ее с помощью вопросов)
Teacher: School is in the centre of our spider gram.

| Where do you keep school things? | – In the schoolbag. |
| What do you do at different lessons? | – Study, count, read… |
Teacher: Now let’s complete our spider gram, each group will write as many words as you can on the topic. (Ребята работают в четырех группах, заполняя словами свои темы на спайдеграмме. Учитель контролирует выполнение задания, проверяет правильность выбора слов.)
Teacher: Well, read the words on your topics, let other pupils agree or disagree with you.
Pupil from group 1: We can see different subjects on the timetable: Maths, Russian, Reading, English, PE, Computing, Nature Study, Arts, Music, Handicrafts.
Pupil from group 2: We can find different things in our schoolbags: books, exercise-books, rubbers, rulers, pens, pencils, pencil-boxes, PE uniform.
Pupil from group 3: We can see a lot of things in our classroom: desks, chairs, pictures on the walls and on the blackboard, curtains on the window, flowers, bookcases, lamps, a table, a computer, books, exercise-books, schoolbags.
Pupil from group 4: We can do different things at the lessons: write, read, speak, learn, draw, sing, make things, run, jump, play games, count, work on the computer.
Teacher: Thanks a lot, it was great!

4. Активизация лексики в диалогической речи

Teacher: Here is our time machine! Oh!
Today we have a group of pupils from the Mars. Would you like to learn about schools on the Mars?
(Учитель раздает ситуативные карточки, организует работу в группах)

5. Монологическое высказывание. Творческий этап
Teacher: It was a real pleasure to listen to you! Do you want to go to a future school? Work in groups, draw your idea of this school and speak about it!
Учащиеся рисуют в группах школу будущего и рассказывают о ней.
Example:
We shan’t go to school in the future. We’ll study at home. Robots will be our teachers. We shall live in the forest and learn a lot from nature.
We shall live on the Mars and study with the Martians.
We’ll live underwater and learn to understand sea animals.
We’ll live in rockets. Our parents and computers will teach us. We’ll help our parents. Sometimes we’ll fly to see our friends or relatives and have parties.
We’ll have a big school with a beautiful park. We’ll go to school by flying cars, we’ll have robots and teachers at school, but we shan’t have any marks!

Teacher: Thank you, my dear boys and girls for your nice pictures and bright ideas!
