Цели:

  1. Образовательные: расширить знания учащихся о флоре и фауне Благовещенского района.
  2. Воспитательные: прививать учащимся чувство любви и бережного отношения к окружающей среде, чувство ответственности за место, где они живут; развивать интерес и положительное отношение к своему району; воспитывать у учащихся активную жизненную позицию.
  3. Развивающие: создать условия для развития памяти; навыков чтения и говорения по теме.
  4. Учебные: создать условия для чтения и составления сообщения о природоохранном объекте Благовещенского района на основе прочитанного текста.

Задачи:

  • организовать чтение текста с полным пониманием прочитанного
  • научить учащихся использовать новую лексику на базе нескольких предложений
  • стимулировать учащихся к созданию продуктивных монологических высказываний в объеме 7–8 предложений на основе прочитанного текста

Место урока в цикле – урок продолжает тему “ How Do You Treat The Earth?”

Оборудование: интерактивная доска.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент (приветствие) Good morning, children!

I hope you are well today and ready to work.

 
II. Целеполагание. Today we continue speaking about ecological problems and ways of environmental protection and discuss our attitude to them  
III. Фонетическая зарядка First of all what words come to your mind when you hear the word “ nature”

Let us fill in the gaps in the spidergram.

(слайд № 2, см. Приложение)

 Ученики называют слова flowers, animals, fresh air, countryside …

Ученики выходят к доске и записывают слова
  So you see when we hear this word we think about

very pleasant things, but all these things are in danger now because nature is polluted. What kinds of pollution do you know?

 Дети произносят и записывают на доске:

– water pollution

– land pollution

– air pollution

– radiation
  What consequences of pollution can you name? Ученики называют последствия загрязнения:

– smog

– greenhouse effect

– endangered animals …
IV. Речевая зарядка So you see that ecological problems are really very serious. People in different countries think of different ways of protecting nature. They organize national parks and reserves. You know there are 13 national parks in the USA, 10 parks in the UK. Are there any national parks in Russia?

You are right. There are no national parks in this country but there are a lot of nature reserves. What is the difference between a national park and a nature reserve?

 No, there are not.

V. Работа с новой лексикой Is there any nature reserve in Blagoveshchenskiy district? Yes, there is.

There is Blagoveshchenskiy reserve here.
  I asked you to find the names of the plants and animals which grow in our district. Now look through your lists and let’s write the words on the blackboard. Ученики называют и записывают на доске названия растений и животных:

Plants:

birch, larch, aspen, red fir, silver fir …

Animals:

elks, roes, badgers,squirrels, falkons, cranes, golden eagles …
  Blagoveshchenskiy Reserve is the habitat of all these and many other plants and animals.  
VI. Чтение с полным пониманием прочитанного Now look at the map of Altai Region.

And this is the view of Lake Kulundinskoe made from the space.

Now we’ll read the text about the reserve and look at the photos made by our naturalist Ivan Petrovich Chekcheev. Then you are to answer my questions:

  1. When was the reserve founded?
  2. What is the aim of the reserve?
  3. What birds are registered in the Red Book?
  4. How many kinds of animals live in the reserve?

    5. Name some of them.

  5. People can visit the reserve, can’t they?

VIII. Повторение грамматического материала As you noticed there are a lot of sentences in Present Simple and Past Simple Passive in the text. Let us read them.

There are some sentences on the blackboard. Put the verbs in Present Simple and Past Simple Passive.
