Задачи:
- Учебная – обучить высказыванию о традиционном английском доме, употреблять лексические единицы и речевые образцы при описании своего дома в диалогической и монологической речи.
- Воспитательная – воспитывать в детях чувство добра, красоты, гармонии, познакомить с традициями страны изучаемого языка.
- Развивающая – развивать внимание, память, логику, формировать навыки общения.
Оборудование: планы-рисунки и фото своих квартир и деревенских домов, стенд с картинками комнат, мебели, сада, карточками с лексическими единицами активной лексики, карточки с пословицами о доме, магнитная доска, магнитофон, аудиокассета с записью песни «There is A Room In My House».

T: Is your kitchen large or small?
P4: My kitchen is large.
T: What is there in front (behind) your house?
P5: There is a playground in front of my house.
III. Закрепление лексики по теме: «The place We Live In»
Т. ––> Listen to me, please. Guess what it is, write the word on the blackboard and find the right picture.

Ученики выходят с рисунками-планами своих квартир и задают друг другу вопросы.
P1: Do you live in a house or in flat?
P2: I live in a house.
P1: Is your house comfortable?
P2: Yes, it is. Look at the photo. It is small, but nice with a large
kitchen and a bathroom.
P1: Have you got a fireplace in your house?
P2: Yes, I have. There is a fireplace in our sitting room. There two
armchairs in front of fireplace.
P1: What is there behind your house?
P2: There is a small garden behind it.
VII. Развитие монологических навыков
Т. ––> Lots of you go to the country-houses in summer. Tell us, please about your house and show the picture or the photo of your house/

Last summer we lived in a small house in the country. There were two rooms in it. The
rooms were not very large. Our house was comfortable and nice.
There were a lot of flowers in front of our house and many fruit trees behind it.
The weather was lovely and we often went to the river.
VIII. Тренировка памяти, внимании, логического мышления
На магнитной доске на одних карточках записаны начало пословиц, на других конец пословиц. Ученики выходят к доске и составляют текст пословиц.

Выставление оценок за урок. Объяснение домашнего задания.
