Цель урока: Систематизация знаний по теме "Времена года. Английский год"
Задачи урока:
- Образовательные: Познакомить учащихся с временами английского года(зимние месяцы)
- Развивающие: совершенствование механизмов аудирования,совершенствование навыков чтения про себя, развитие навыков устной речи
- Воспитательные: знакомить учащихся с культурой Великобритании
Оборудование: тематические картинки по теме " Времена года"; магнитофонная запись загадок по теме " Времена года"; сигнальные карточки; тестовые задания
Ход урока
1. Подготовительный этап урока
1.1. Организационный этап урока. Приветствие
1.2. Объявление темы урока
"Today we are going on talking about seasons. First you will listen to the riddles about seasons of the year .Then we'll need to learn how to use the new words in different situations and at the end of the lesson we'll find new information about the English year.
1.3. Речевая разминка.
First I'd like you to answer my questions:
- It's a fine day today,isn't it?
- How is the weather today?
- What date is it today?
- What season is it now?
2. Основная часть урока
2.1. Совершенствование навыков аудирования
I want you to divide into three groups.
How many seasons are there in a year? Name them.
Look at the pictures and listen to the riddles, then match them.
Listen to the riddles for the first time and try to understand what they are about.
Then will be a pause of 15 seconds. Try to mark some of the answers. Then you will listen to the riddles for the second time. Be more attentive this time!

№1 The weather is cold. Usually it snows. The days are short and the nights are long. You can see snow everywhere. The rivers and lakes freeze and we can go skating and skiing.

№3 It is hot or warm. The days are long and the nights are short. There are many green trees and nice flowers in the parks and in the squares in summer. The pupils don't go to school, they have got their summer holidays.
№4 It is cool. The weather is changeable. It often rains. The days become shorter and the nights become longer. The birds prepare to fly to the South. One can see yellow, red, brown leaves everywhere. It is time for gathering harvest.

2.2. Актуализация изученной лексики по теме "Английский год"
We are going to speak about the English year. But first learn some new words and words combinations.

- Open your textbooks. Look through the ex 8. p.99 and learn how to use the new words in different situations. Read them after the announcer.
- Let's play! We have a competition "Who is the best translator?" Учитель даёт предложения с новыми словами на русском языке,а ученики переводят их на английский.
За каждый правильный ответ учитель даёт значок в форме снежинки(листочка)

2.5. Развитие навыков устной речи
Let's play the game "A snowball story" Say whatever you can about winter in Great Britain. Учитель называет первое предложение о зиме,затем следующий ученик повторяет предыдущее предложение и называет своё предложение и т.д.
3. Заключительный этап урока
Учитель подводит итоги урока и оценивает работу учеников.
