Steps
1. Word Flashcards. Revising family vocabulary, by doing choral and individual repetition.
2. Family Song (Get Set Go-2, track 24) (Sample picture 1)
Come and see my father and my mother.
Come and see my sister and my brother.
Come and see my family. Come and see me.
Come and see my grandfather and grand mother.
Come and see my uncle and my aunt.
Come and see my cousin. Come and see me.
3. Memory Game (using the flashcards)
Stick the flashcards on the board. Pupils close their eyes while the teacher remove one card. Pupils open the eyes and say what's missing. They can either say or write down the missing word.
4. Family Album (using the flashcards) (Sample picture 2)
Pupils devide the cards according to male/female Gender
5. Letters Hunt (using flashcards od the words written on the board)
Stick the flashcards on the board. Let the pupils search the letters and mark them any way. (cross, circle, underline, etc.)
6. ABC-Chant (Spot Light, Class CD, track 4)
a) Revise the letters A-H — name and sound the letters. Point to the letters in the ABC-board.
b) Letters' families. Let the pupils group the letters according to the colours (Sample picture 3)
c) Listen to the chant (CD track 4 Spotlight) and say.
A [x] - apple, B [b] - bag, C [k] - cat, D [d] - dog, E [e] -egg, F [f] - flag, H [h] - horse

7. Meet the Robots!
a) Teacher tell the class about the Robot's family using “I've got...” demonstrating Robot's family picture. (Sample picture 5)
I'm a robot. My name is Bix. I've got my mother. I've got my father. I've got a sister. I've got a brother.
My mother's name is Robotrix. My father's name is Robot. My sister's name is Robbytrix. My brother's name is Robby.
b) Point to the picture of Robot's family and say Who's this? It's Bix's sister (brother, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, family)
8. Tell me about your Family!
The pupils tell the class about their families.
Sample pupul's story:
My name is ... This is my family. I've got my father. My father's name is ... I've got my mother. My mother's name is .... I've got (a) sister(s). This is my sister (name). This is my brother (name). I love my family!
(The pupil put his Family Tree picture or his family photos on the board)
9. Finish the lesson singing the song “Come and see my family” again
