Задачи урока:
- Активизация изученной учащимися лексики по теме «Town life. London»;
- Совершенствование грамматических навыков;
- Совершенствование навыков монологической и диалогической речи;
- Совершенствование навыков неподготовленной речи;
- Совершенствование навыков работы в группах.
Цель: повторить пройденный материал по теме: «Городская жизнь. Лондон».
Оформление и раздаточный материал: плакат с достопримечательностями Лондона, картинки, карточки с заданиями, магнитофон, телевизор и видеомагнитофон.
ХОД УРОКА
I этап. Вводно-мотивационный этап
T.: Good morning, children! Sit down, please! I am glad to see you! Do
you remember what date it is today? What day of the week is it today? Look at the
blackboard! We are having an unusual lesson. The topic of it is “A TRIP TO LONDON”.
Today we are going to revise our material on the topic “TOWN LIFE. LONDON”: we’ll do
some exercises, write a quiz, watch a film, work in groups, act out dialogues, play and
sing the song “Do you live in London?”
“Looking down on London, we see at our feet the richest and the most beautiful
city in the world as magic as Rome.
All of you dream of visiting London and let’s hope that some day our dream will come
true and we’ll see one of the greatest cities in the world.
II этап. Грамматическая фонетическая разминка
T: Let’s take a plane and go on an imaginable trip to London. We arrive at Heathrow Airport and go to see London. But before going we must find some keys to this magic city which will show us the way there. Look at these gates. Your task is to fill in the definite article where necessary and find the keys. <Приложение 1>
T.: Now repeat these proper nouns with me. Well done. We’ve found all the keys and now we can take a double-decker bus and go on our tour.

T.: Now we are going on a boat trip, we’ll watch a film about London
and take some pictures.
What sightseeing have you just seen? Name them all. (Дети называют все
достопримечательности)
Now let’s divide and work in groups.
Imagine that you are guides. What can you say about places of interest in London? (Ученики
получают фотографии с достопримечательностями)
Your task is to prepare short monologues about the sightseeing.
VII этап. Совершенствование навыков диалогической речи (проверка домашнего задания)
T.: You’ve seen many places of interest; you’ve found many interesting facts about London and now say what you think about London. Listen to the dialogue and act it out.
A: How do you like London?
B: Oh, it’s beautiful. It’s different from other European capitals.
A: Yes, I think it’s one of the most interesting and unusual cities in
the world. There are many places to visit: museums, art galleries, theatres…
B: Oh, yesterday I saw the Houses of Parliament, heard the voice of Big
Ben, visited the famous Tower.
A: Have you visited Westminster Abbey?
B: Not, yet. What is it famous for?
A: It was founded in 1065. The coronation of all British Kings and Queens
take place there.
B: How can I get there?
A: By bus or just walk.

T.: Now it’s time to play. If you have a chance to visit London and go on a trip, what will you want to do there? Please make as many sentences as you can.
