Story-teller: Puff-ball hasn’t got parents. He is very unhappy. One day he goes to find some friends. He walks on and on.
Puff-ball:
Good morning, Good morning,
Good morning to you!
This cold winter morning
How do you do?
Good morning, Good morning,
Good morning to you!
This cold winter morning
I am well, and you?
Story-teller: At last he meets a Mouse.
Puff-ball:
Where are you going to,
My little Mouse?
The Mouse:
I am going to town
To buy a blouse.
Puff-ball:
What? A blouse for a mouse?
A mouse with a blouse?
Who ever saw
A mouse with a blouse?
Puff-ball: I’m looking for a friend. Do you want to be my friend?
The Mouse: Of course. Please, take me with you. I know a rhyme:
| Hickory, dickory, dock! The mouse ran up the clock. The clock struck one, The mouse ran down, Hickory, dickory, dock! |

Story-teller: So Puff-ball and The Mouse walk on and on. At last they meet a Red Fox.
Puff-ball:
Where are you going to,
My little Fox?
The Red Fox:
I am going to town
To buy a box.
Puff-ball:
What? A box for a fox?
A fox with a box?
Who ever saw
A fox with a box?
The Red Fox: Are you looking for a friend? You are two and I’m alone. Please, take me with you. I know a rhyme:
| Little miss Muffet Sat on a tuffet Eating her curds and whey Along came a spider Who sat down beside her And frightened Miss Muffet away! |
Малютка мисс Бумби Сидела на тумбе Хлебала свою простоквашую. Но выглянул вдруг свирепый паук И спугнул нашу Бумби бедняжку! |
Story-teller: So Puff-ball, The Mouse and the Red Fox walk on and on. At last they meet a White Hare.
Puff-ball:
Where are you going to,
My little Hare?
The White Hare:
I am going to town
To buy a pear.
Puff-ball:
What? A pear for a hare?
A hare with a pear?
Who ever saw
A hare with a pear?
The White Hare: Are you looking for a friend? You are three and I’m alone. Please, take me with you. I want to be your friend. I know a rhyme:
| Pussy-cat, pussy-cat, Where have you been? I’ve been to London To look at the Queen. Pussy-cat, pussy-cat, What did you do there? I frightened a little mouse Under her chair. |

Story-teller: So Puff-ball, The Mouse, the Red Fox and the White Hare walk on and on. At last they meet a Green Frog.
Puff-ball:
Where are you going to,
My little Frog?
The Grey Wolf:
I am going to town
To buy a dog.
Puff-ball:
What! A dog for a frog?
A frog with a dog?
Who ever saw
A frog with a dog?
The Gren Frog: I am a green frog. I can jump and sing. I want to be your friend. Please, take me with you. I know a rhyme:
| Humpty-Dumpty sat on a wall. Humpty-Dumpty had a great fall. All the king’s horses and All the king’s men Couldn’t put Humpty Together again. |

The Brown Bear: I am a Brown Bear. I am strong and big. But I am very unhappy. I have no friends. Please, take me with you. I know a rhyme:
| Little Jack Horner Sat in a corner Eating a Christmas pie He put in his thump And pulled out of a plum And said: “What a good boy I am!” |

The Story-teller: So Puff-ball, the Mouse, the Red Fox, the White Hare, the Grey Wolf and the Brown Bear are very happy, because they are together. They like to sing songs. The favourite one is “The more we are together…”
Puff-ball: Let’s sing it together!
