Воспитательные: воспитание умения работы в коллективе; повышение интереса к изучению английского языка.
Оснащение урока: планшет с тематическими картинками; карточки со словами; магнитофон с фонограммами песен; слайды, компьютер, экран; бумажные игрушки-подарки.
Оформление доски: грамматические вербальные опоры; новые слова с транскрипцией.

Well, children, what are we going to talk about?
Pupils: About birthday.
Teacher: Right you are!
I’ve got a short rhyme about it. Look at the blackboard.

It’s birthday time, birthday time-
Time for games and time for toys,
