Задачи урока:
- Обобщить, закрепить и систематизировать пройденный материал по теме «Спорт»
- Развивать лексико-грамматические навыки говорения.
- Расширять знания о наиболее популярных видах спорта в странах изучаемого языка и в своем городе.
- Развивать умения пользоваться дополнительной литературой при подготовке проектов.
- Составить рабочие варианты проектов.
- Корректировка и редактирование проектов.
- Организация презентации проектов.
ХОД УРОКА
1. Организационный момент.
T: -Good morning everybody! I’ m glad to see you again! How are you today? Are you ready to begin our lesson? Then let’s go.
- Do you remember the theme of our last lessons? What’s it?
- Today we continue our work with the projects.
- What the name of your project? (ask questions to each group)
P: -Football.
T: -What’s the theme of your work?
P: - Basketball.
T: -What are you writing about?
P: - We’re writing about bandy.

P: - Our project work called “Bandy”.

T: I should say for our guest that before the beginning of our project work choosing the most popular kinds of sport we’ve studied the opinions of our eight form pupils about sport. The question was: “Write down 5 kinds of sport which are the most popular for you and grade them according to how exciting or boring you think they are.”
These girls were studying this information. And now let’s listen to them. Girls, you are welcome.
P: “We had out that average percent of football fans is 80 percent. There are 20 percent of basketball fans among our eight forms. Bandy fans are approximate to 20 percent. And about 25 percent of pupils are figure skating fans. According these facts we have chosen 4 kinds of sport which are the most popular in our school: basketball, football, figure skating and bandy. 2) T: What’s this?
P: These are the sticks for basketball fans. In February there was a basketball championship among women teams in Krasnoyarsk. Two excellent women teams from Tomsk and Krasnoyarsk were fighting for the champion medals. There were many basketball fans on the tribunes, which supported their favourite team by tapping like this. This orange T-shirt, vest and a little red fox are the symbols of the team from Krasnoyarsk. That game was so exciting, that I’ll never forget it!
P: Basketball is our favourite sport game, so we would like to explain and show you some of the main rules of this game.
Pupils show some fragments of basketball rules with a ball and a basket, such as: throws with one or two hands, dribbling with one or another hand, throws into the basket, running with a ball, unallowed fouls (dribble double, legs arms, clothes, etc.).

P: We’ve prepared interesting information about football sport place. What do you think about it? Приложение 2.
- This is a football field or pitch. There is a touchline from 100 to 130 meters a goal line 50 to 100 meters. This is a goal area for goalkeeper. There are 3 backs or sweeper in English football and 4 back players in Russian football. There are 3 halves or midfield men in English football and 4 halves men in Russian football. There are 4 forwards (strikers) in English football and only 2 forwards in Russian game.
4) P: We also found out that some boys from our eight forms are going to the football school “Tarzan”, which is preparing players for our famous local football team “Zarya”. We had an interview with them and now we offer it to your attention.

P1: What kind of sport do you go in for?
P2: Football.
P1: Why have you chosen this kind of sport?
P2: Football is my favourite game.
P3: There are many football stars such as Ronaldinio, Backhem, Zidan and many others. I always wanted to be like them.
P1: What’s the name of your football club?
P2: “Tarzan”. It’s a sport football school for children.
P1; How long have you been going there?
P3: For 6 years.
P1: How often do you practice?
P2: Four times a week during four hours. Our trainings are spending this way. (Enclosure 3)
P1: How often do you go to the football competitions?
P3: We play The Town Primacy each Sunday.
P2: We play The Tournament “Leathern Ball” once in two months. Regional Primacy and Primacy of Russia we play once a year.
P1: What prizes and awards do you have?
P3: We have medals for the first, second and the third places. And our football team has many cups.
P1: What are your nearest plans?
P2: On the 27th of March we will play in Osinniki again.
P3: Next year I’ll go to study to sport Olympic reserve school in Barnaul. I’ll live, study and train there

P: We are ready with our wall-newspaper and we’ve finished our conclusion.
P: The figure skating is a kind of skating sport; competition or performance on an ice, with music composition including combinations of steps, rotations, jumps and pair supporting. There are many varieties of figure skating, such as: single (men or female), pair figure skating and sport dances.
The native land of figure skating is Holland. The first skates with iron runners appeared in the 13-14th centuries there. In 1702 in Edinburgh the first skate’s club has been organized and its members created the first official rules for competitions. So, the first international competitions of figure skating (for men only) took place in 1882 in Vein. Sometimes later in 1896, St. Petersburg had become the first Russian city of carrying out the first official world championship.
In the beginning of the 20 century the basic types of jumps in figure skating have been named to honour of their founders: Salhov, Luts, Rittberger, Aksal and Paulsan.

6) T: Would you like to show me your work material about Bandy?
P1: Bandy World Championship started at the end of January 2007 in Kemerovo. Kuzbass hosted such high level competitions for the first time. It was a long-awaited sport holiday for all citizens of Kuzbass.
The symbol of Bandy championship in Kemerovo was an orange ball. We’d like to prepare orange balloons like the symbol of Bandy with the words of wisdom about sport and health on them. If everything is correct we’ll give them to you after our presentation next lesson.
