познавательный аспект: знакомство с достопримечательностями Лондона, развитие умения извлекать информацию о культуре англоязычных стран из текста;
развивающий аспект: развитие способности к формулированию выводов из прочитанного, к репродуктивным и продуктивным действиям, умения работать в группах, развитие познавательного интереса учащихся;
воспитательный аспект: воспитание уважительного отношения к другой культуре, толерантного отношения друг к другу, критического отношения к мнению другого человека;
учебный аспект: практиковать учащихся во всех видах речевой деятельности, совершенствовать навыки монологической и диалогической речи, тренировать учащихся в чтении с различной стратегией, составлении кластера и синквейна.
Оборудование: интерактивная доска, карта Великобритании, картины с достопримечательностями Лондона.
Ход урока
Вступление:
Teacher1: Dear kids!
Teacher2: Dear guests! Nice to meet you!
Children: Nice to meet you too!
T1: We hope you are fine today.
T2: Turn to each other, touch your hands and try to say some polite words to each other.

T1: Well, my dear friends, today at the lesson you’ve got a chance to visit the most famous and beautiful city in the world the capital of the UK – London! You will see some interesting and historical places of London, learn more about its sightseeing.
Each group has a text about London sightseeing. Your task is to read it for detail, make a cluster and present your information as a guide for tourists. You have 15 minutes. (Приложение)

T1: So, guys, your time is up. Let’s start our London sightseeing tour right now with our professional guides.
S1: Hello, ladies and gentlemen! We welcome you to London. London is one of the largest cities in the world. About 7 million people live there. It is more than 2000 years old. London’s most famous sights are The Tower Bridge, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, and St. Paul’s Cathedral. You will see all these places and much more of London from our red double-decker.
S2: We start from Trafalgar Square…
S3: We’ve just passed Piccadilly Circus and now we are making our way to Buckingham Palace.
S4: We’ve just turned left and you can see Parliament Square.
S5: In front of you there is St. Paul’s Cathedral.
S6: Now we are crossing Tower Bridge over the river Thames. From here you can see the Tower of London.
S1: Our tour has finished. I hope very much that you have enjoyed this tour of London. Thank you very much.
