When we speak about our environment we mean water, wild life, air. So, we have read a text about water “Making every drop caught”. One of the biggest problems for the future will be a shortage of water. A lot of people are now trying to find out ways to save water. What are your suggestions?
Possible answers:
- We should take short showers instead of baths
- We shouldn’t leave the tap running while you brush your teeth or wash your hands.
- We should fill a sink to wash up instead of leaving the tap running to reduce the amount of water.
- Dishwashers and washing machines should only be used when they are full and on a short cycle when possible.
- It can also save water if any leaks or waste in your neighbourhood are reported to your local council.
Teacher:
Another problem of our environment is deforestation. People have cut down millions of trees. What is the result? Many types of animals and plants are disappearing. What is the solution? Zoos and safari parks can help animals survive.
