Цели урока:
- повышение интереса учащихся к английскому языку;
- активизация модального глагола must в речи;
- развитие навыков аудирования, выразительного чтения;
- формирование навыков монологической и диалогической речи.
Оборудование: мягкие игрушки, макет мини- зоопарка в кабинете, наглядный материал - рисунок человека, магнитофон, карточки.
Ход урока
1. Организационный момент
Учитель:
- Good morning, friends! Glad to see you!
- Today we shall go to the Zoo. Do you want? Ok!
Now we are going to revise the words on the topic “Pets and Other Animals”
2. Фонетическая зарядка
Учитель спрашивает название диких и домашних животных, частей тела, показывая по рисунку человека на доске.
Ученики дружно отвечают:
- What’s the Russian for….
to see, to like, an animal, wild, domestic, an elephant, a snake, a pig, a tiger, a lion, a monkey, a crocodile, a snake, a pig, a rat, a chicken, a cat, a sheep.
- What’s the English for…
ухо (уши), глаз (глаза), нос, рот, хвост, шея, нога (ноги), рука (руки), лапа (лапы.)
3. Работа с карточками (раздаточный материал)
Двум ученикам предлагается разделить названия животных на карточках на домашних и диких:
an elephant, a snake, a pig, a tiger, a lion, a monkey, a crocodile, a chicken, a cat, a sheep, a mouse.

4. Развитие логического мышления, активизация модального глагола must
Учитель предлагает ученикам вспомнить необходимые правила поведения на улице, в зоопарке.
- Now, let’s repeat some instructions:

- Ok! Now let?s go to the Zoo.
Учитель с учениками идут в зоопарк. В зоопарке ученики переходят от клетки к клетке с животными и описывают их. Если ученики хотят узнать больше информации о животных, они задают ему дополнительно вопросы.
- We are at the Zoo now! Who can tell me about…(a tiger, a bear, etc.)
Ученик (Р 1):
This is a monkey. It’s a wild animal. It’s brown.
A monkey has 2 legs and 2 arms, 2 eyes, 2 ears.
It has a nose, a mouth and a long tail.
It can run and jump. It likes bananas very much.
Ученик (Р 2): This is a bear. It’s a wild animal too. It has a nose, a mouth ,4 paws, 2 eyes, 2 ears. It’s brown. It likes honey very much. This is a bear too. But it is white. It likes fish.
Ученик (Р 3): This is a lion. It’s a wild animal too. It has a long tail, a head, a nose, a big mouth, 2 eyes, 2 ears and 4 paws. It can run and jump.
Ученик (Р 4): This is a giraffe. It is a wild animal too. It has a tail, a big mouth, a very long neck, 2 eyes, 2 ears and 4 paws. I like a giraffe. It can run quickly.
Ученик (Р 5): It‘s a hare. It’s not very big but it’s very nice. It has a short tail, a nose, a mouth, 2 eyes, 2 ears, 4 paws. It’s grey and white. It likes carrots very much.
Ученик (Р 6): This is a crocodile. It’s green.
It has a nose, a long tail, a big mouth, 4 short legs, 2 eyes and 2 ears. I like it very much. It lives in the river or in the lake.
Ученик (Р 7): This is a wolf. It is a wild animal. It’s grey. It likes sheep. It has 4 paws, 2 eyes, 2 big ears, a big mouth, a little nose and a tail.
Ученик (Р 8): This is a tiger. It is a wild animal. It’s yellow and black.It has a very long tail, 4 paws,2 eyes, 2 ears, a big mouth and a nose.
Ученик (Р 9): This is a pig. It’s pink. It’s a domestic animal. It has 4 hooves, 2 eyes, 2 ears, a nose, a mouth and a short tail. We have 2 pigs at home.
Ученик (Р 10): This is a dog. It’s a domestic animal. A dog is a friend of a man. It lives in the dog- house in the yard. We have a nice, big and clever dog. It’s name is Rex. It has 4 legs, 2 eyes, 2 big ears, a mouth, a nose, a long or short tail.
Ученик (Р 11): This is a mouse. It’s a domestic and field animal. It lives in the house. It’s grey. It has a long tail, a mouth, 2 eyes, 2 ears and a nose.
Ученик (Р 12): This is a cat. It’s a domestic animal. I have a very nice cat at home. It’s name is Murka. It has 4 paws, 2 eyes, 2 big ears, a mouth, a nose, a long tail, 2 little ears. It likes mice very much.
6. Аудирование
Учитель: Well! Each of you told us very interesting stories about animals. I understand that you like them very much.. Now, let’s come back to our classroom and continue our lesson!
Ученики “возвращаются” в класс и садятся за парты.
T: Today we went to the Zoo, saw many animals and now I want you to learn the poem.
а) учащиеся слушают магнитную запись стихотворения At the Zoo.
