- Чтение с полным пониманием.
- Аудирование с извлечением нужной информации.
- Устная речь (описание картинок по темам “Семья”, “Школа”; представление членов команд; расспрос по темам “Семья”, “Школа”, “Мои друзья”, “Визитная карточка”).
- Употребление времен английского глагола (Present Simple, Present Progressive, Present Perfect, Past Simple, Future Simple).

1. Ведущий (Host): I am a host of this game. My name is N. Our game is called "A Lucky Chance". You are wellcome to our game. I want to introduce our contestants. On the left - the pupils from the 7b form and on the right- the pupils from the 7a form. Let's cheer our teams!
2. Ведущий представляет капитанов
Host: The head of the first team is Alexander. How are you? How do you feel about this game?
Alexander: I feel well. To my mind it'll be great!
Hostess: I am going to tell you a few words about Alexander. He is good at Maths and
Physics because he works hard, does his homework properly, listens to the teachers carefully.
He wants to get the top in his life.
And this is the head of another team. Her name is Olga. Hello, Olga! Are you OK? I think you'll succeed. Olga is a hard worker. She thinks before she does. Her rule is – ‘Start the work and finish it’. She can do many things well. She can write neatly and correctly, she can cook well. Now I want you to introduce your teams.
3. Капитаны представляют участников.
The head of the first team: With pleasure. This is Oleg. He does well at school, his favourite subjects are History and English. He gets along with his friends. He is well-read. This is Natasha. She is the best at English. She tries to keep the rule – ‘Study first and fun after that’. She wants to be a top specialist in English.
4. Ведущий (Host) начинает разминку.
Thank you for your information. Now let's warm-up. You have got a word "demonstration". Make up as many words as you can out of this word. I give you 5 minutes. Your fans can help you.
Для разминки дается слово “демонстрация”. Команды получают задание составить как можно больше слов из букв этого слова. Болельщики могут помогать. Тот, кто составит больше слов, получает право на открытие первого раунда. Слова зачитываются командами по очереди.
5. Начало раунда.
На доске представлены 6 цветных полей с обозначениями.
Черный – Reading.
Красный – Do You Know…?
Желтый – Look at the Picture.
Зеленый – Listening.
Голубой – A Dark Horse.
Розовый – You Ask Me, I Ask You.
Выигравшей командой выбирается поле первого раунда (из коробочки достается цветной кружок, обозначающий поле). Ведущий предлагает коробку: Which field do you want? Раздаточный материал для раундов:
Желтое поле — Look at the Picture.
Нужно за 1 минуту назвать как можно больше слов по теме и составить 10 связных предложений по картинке. (10 баллов)

Karen’s Day
Karen Spencer lives in London. She’s 15. Every day she goes to school at 8.30. She comes home at 3.30. She has her tea at 4 o’clock and she does her homework from 5 till 7. What does she do then? She doesn’t watch TV, she doesn’t go to the cinema, she doesn’t go to discos, she goes to bed.
Interviewer: Why do you go to bed at 7.15, Karen?
Karen: I want to be a nice skater. I practise every day from Monday to Saturday, but I can’t practise in the morning because I am at school.
Interviewer: Can’t you practise in the evening?
Karen: No, I can’t. There are many people in the skating-rink in the evening.
Karen practises early in the morning. Her day starts at 4 o’clock in the morning. She gets up and has her breakfast at 4.30. Mr Spencer takes Karen to the skating-rink. She practises for three hours from 5 o’clock and she finishes at 8 o’clock.
Interviewer: What do you do then, Karen?
Karen: I don’t go home because my school is near the skating-rink, but from 8 o’clock till 8.30 I take a shower and get dressed. Then it’s time for school.
Interviewer: What do you do on Sunday?
Karen: I don’t practise on Sundays but I don’t stay in bed. I get up at 5 o’clock and I do my homework. If I stay in bed I can’t sleep on Sunday night.

Каждый член команды может задать 3 вопроса по любой теме одному из членов другой команды. Каждый вопрос оценивается в 1 балл. (l point)
После трех раундов можно предложить музыкальную паузу. (Musical break).
Жюри подводит итоги, болельщикам предлагается задание “Подбери пословицу к русскому варианту”.
