Ход урока
I. Мотивационный этап.
T: Good morning! I’m glad to see you. Today we’re going to talk about our Russian folk tales. Because if you want to tell foreigners about our Russian soul, character, culture and traditions, you should tell them Russian folk tales. (Обращаюсь к ученикам индивидуально) Do you like Russian folk tales?... What is your favourite one? ... (Беседуем с ребятами).
T: And now look at the screen. Here you can see the illustrations to the most famous Russian tales. These illustrations were painted by Russian skilled craftsmen from the village Fedoskino. Besides you can see the names of these tales in English. Please, take activity sheet 1 <Рисунок1> and read the names of the folk tales. (Ученики читают и переводят названия сказок). Thanks. Now, children, match the illustrations with the names of the tales. (Ученики соединяют названия сказок с их иллюстрациями). Are you ready? Then let’s check it: P: Picture 1 is “The Humpbacked Pony”…..
II. Презентация нового лексического материала и его активизация в различных видах речевой деятельности.
1) T: One of these Russian folk tales is my favourite. I liked it very much when I was a small girl and I like it now. Guess what the name of my favourite folk tale is. The words and the pictures on the screen will help you. But first let’s read the words and translate some of them. Please, take activity sheet 2. <Рисунок2> (читаем и переводим слова, данные под картинками, иллюстрирующими сказку “Царевна-лягушка”). So what is the name of my favourite folk tale?... Right you are, it’s “The Frog Princess”.
2) T: Do you remember the contents of the tale? Let’s revise some details. Take activity sheet 3. <Рисунок3> Here you can read the extracts from the folk tale, but they are mixed up. Arrange them in the correct order. (Учащиеся расставляют перепутанные фрагменты из сказки в нужном порядке, затем проверяем задание. Ответ: 1) B, 2) A, 3) E, 4) C, 5) D).
3) T: Now we shall see if you remember the characters of this tale. Take activity sheet 4 <Рисунок4>, look at the characters of the tale and match these characters with the sentences. (Учащиеся устанавливают соответствие между героями сказки и их высказываниями; проверяем задание).
4) T: As you remember Koshei the deathless put Vasilisa away from her husband Ivan. Let’s help Ivan to save his wife. To do it you have to solve a crossword. Please, take activity sheet 5 <Рисунок5> and do it. The words from activity sheet 2 will help you. When you fill in the crossword you’ll see a secret word in the middle. (Ученики решают кроссворд, проверяем задание и получаем “секретное слово”).
5) T: What is the secret word? You’re right, it’s “spell” – “заклинание”. I know whose spell it is. It’s Baba Yaga’s spell. She is a famous Russian witch, who lives in the wooden hut. Please, take activity sheet 6 <Рисунок6> and study it. It’s Baba Yaga’s spell in written form, but some words are missing. They are here in red colour. In a minute you will listen to Baba Yaga’s spell. Try to understand it and then fill in the gaps with these words to complete the spell. (Дважды звучит аудиозапись заклинания, и ученики выполняют задание).
6) T: Now let’s check your work. Please read your variant. It’s OK. Can you translate it? We will be able to get into Baba Yaga’s hut after you pronounce the spell all together. (произносим заклинание хором, в это время я поворачиваю избушку, и все видят послание на двери избушки: “Don’t judge the book by its cover”.) … Oh, what is it? I think it’s a message. As you know every folk tale has its moral. “The Frog Princess” also has one. Here it is. Let’s read and translate it: “Don’t judge the book by its cover” – “Не суди книгу по обложке”. It’s an English proverb. Can you give me the Russian equivalent? What do we say in this case?... Yes, it’s right: “По одежке встречают, по уму провожают”
III. Заключительный этап. Подведение итогов.
T: You’re very clever. I think you worked very well. Please, take these small cards <Рисунок7> and appraise your work and your emotions. (Учащиеся заполняют карточки самооценки). Please, give the cards to me. Thanks. Every Russian folk tale has a happy end. Let’s sing a song and make the end of our tale happy and marry. Please, take activity sheet 7 <Рисунок8>, listen to the music and sing along. (Поем песню)… At home draw a picture of your favourite character from “The Frog Princess” and then complete the description of your picture in your activity sheet 8 <Рисунок9> .
