Воспитательная цель: приобщение учащихся к культуре английского языка.

I. Организационный момент.

T.: Today at our lesson we shall meet Hobbit, the character of English fairy-tales.
Hobbit is writing a book of records. He needs to collect all possible information. There will be several chapters in his book. Your task is to help Hobbit collect information and show your knowledge of English.

Tracy: It’s 1 metre 47 cm. I've got the longest hair in the village.

Max: I made the biggest chewing gum bubble.
Jackie: Oh, really? How many people did it?

Annie: I did nothing. My rabbit won the first prize.
Jackie: What did it do?
Annie: It jumped the highest. I was so happy and gave my rabbit the biggest carrot.

Open your workbooks. Page 28, ex. 3. Solve the crossword.
