1. Приветствие учителя.
Good afternoon, dear students and our guests! We are glad to see you!
Учитель 1 : Today we are having a very special lesson where the teenagers of our school are going to discuss the ecological problems. There are the names of these problems of today: Read them aloud, please!
- Littering
- Air pollution, smog
- Water pollution
- Overcrowding and overpopulation
- Endangered species
- Animals which are almost extinct
- Destruction of natural resources
Учитель 2 : We have also invited the Biology teacher, because she is environmentally concerned. That’s why she and her students are here today.
Учитель 1 : Firstly I’d like to ask you the only question: why have we gathered here?
S1: We are worried about Earth pollution.
S2: We understand that water, air pollution, littering, destruction of natural resources are global problems.
S3: We are concerned how to make our planet a healthier place for all living creatures.
S4: We are sure only common efforts can save our planet for future generation.
2.Учащиеся читают стихи о природе.
Учитель 2: Strolling in the woods we can breathe fresh air, smell at beautiful flowers, listen to the magic music of birds’ songs.
Учитель 1: At such moments our hearts hold with nature. And poetry enters into our souls. We feel we are really one with our planet and the universe.

P1: It is dawn. The first appearance of the light in the morning. Every thing is coming out to meet the Sun light. The meadows, forests, rivers, lakes are feeling happiness at this moment. Flowers, birds, animals and people are filling themselves white a great power of the Sun. The flowers are showing their colours: yellow, red, white, orange, pink, violet. The birds are singing their songs. Everybody is thankful to the nature.
The trees of the forest,
The flowers on the lea,
The birds on the branches,
The fish on the sea!
The rocks and the mountains,
The rivers that flow,
The rain and the sunshine,
The ice and the snow!All things, that are lovely,

Посмотрите вокруг: свалка мусора, обгорелые деревья, куча консервных банок, выжженная земля. Всё это дело рук человеческих. И если его, этого человека не остановить, то вот в такое разорённое, грязное, мёртвое пространства превратится наша планета.

Преобразуй, используй и твори!
Да только помни, что твоё начало
В том, чтоб Земля травинками дышала.
И, словно на руках, тебя качала.
На тех лугах, где каждый год цвели
Травиночки – кровиночки Земли.
Во всех странах, на всех континентах люди думают, как спасти нашу Землю. С каждым днём ширится и растёт движение “зелёных”, и мнение защитников природы приобретает всё больший вес и решающее значение.

У1: Дорогие друзья! Как вы себя чувствуете? Ничего? Голова побаливает? Сердце? Ну, это пустяки, завтра же к врачу, а там и на обследование можно лечь, рентген, анализы … . А вот теперь подумаем: кто поведёт к врачу природу? Кто послушает её сердце? Кто спросит: “На что жалуетесь?” Кто сделает ей “эколограмму”? Кто? Молчите?
У2: Да, получается, Природа вроде как сирота. А ведь она наша ближайшая кровная родня! И болезни Природы моментально передаются нам по наследству.
У3: Мать-природа дарит нам всё: еду, одежду, радость, вдохновение, жизнь! А чем мы платим за её любовь? По данным защитников окружающей среды ежегодно в Тихий океан “дети природы”вываливают миллионы тонн мусора! И даже могучий океан не в состоянии “переварить” этот мусор. Устроив свалки из океанов, морей, озёр, лесов, отравив воздух и, даже продукты питания, человек не мог не разрушить свою личность!
5. Защита плаката.

6. Презентация “Keeping the Earth Clean” 10 класс.

P1: It means “home”. This idea of home includes the whole planet: the air, the sun, the sky, the rivers, the oceans, all things around us are parts of our environment. As for me I want to remind that every year a lot of people are environmentally concerned; we drink dirty water contaminated by poisonous chemicals and it harms our health.
P2: Furthermore, many territories and the atmosphere are polluted with all kinds of technological, chemical, nuclear and other wastes.
P3: Moreover, the ozone layer does not protect the Earth from harmful radiation any more as there are a lot of growing ozone holes. And sun radiation causes cancer.
P4: In addition, many animals die out, because they are killed by man and poisonous environment. Some species of flora also disappear nowadays.
P5: That’s why the protection of natural resources and wildlife is becoming a political program in every country. The members of UNO have set up environmental protection agencies. The international organization Greenpeace is also doing much to preserve the Earth.
P6: To sum everything up, there are only the initial steps and they must be carried onward to protect nature, to save life on the planet not only for the sake of present but also for the future generations and we quite agree with J. Galsworthy :” if you don’t think of the future you won’t have it”

7. Учитель 2: What can we do keeping the Earth clean? We are neither politicians nor directors of big plants. We are just students of a secondary school. We hope that our first steps in making the Earth cleaner will be noticed. The 7th formers are going to share their ideas. Come up to the board and start your answers with introductory phrases:

Где стонут травы: “Больше не могу!”
Вот она летит, маленькая такая!
В космосе грустит, в думы свои вникая,
Вот она плывёт, зыбкой прохладой веет,
Всё ещё живёт, всё ещё людям верит!
Давайте всегда помнить: земля, по которой мы ходим, на которой растём, живём, радуемся и работаем – это наша Земля. Нужно всем вместе хранить, любить и учиться беречь её! Природа – наше богатство; сберечь это богатство для последующих поколений – наша задача и наш долг!
