Our second homeplace is the village Staroje Tchourilino. Our village is the first village ,which Arsk District begin with. It’s as the gates of our district.
The village Staroje Tchourilino is one of the most ancient villages in our Republic. It was founded at the period of Kazan Khanate. The people of many nationalities lived there: Tatars, Russian ,Udmurts ,Gipsy.
The main occupations of the people were agriculture, cattle breeding. wild-hive beekeeping, hunting and fishing.
There are two opinions about the origion of the word ,, Tchourilino.'" The river ,,Koularka"flowed near the village. And beside this river the fight took place .It was the fight of the hero Tchoura with the dragon. Tchoura won the dragon and in honour of him, the village was called ,,Tchoura ile"The second opinion tells us that in the middle of the region, where the village was located, there was a ravine. And there were many springs here . These springs formed a small river called,,Tchourilka." And there was the opinion that the name of the village ,,Tchourilino" was derived from the name of this river. It was called ,,Staroje" because it was located near ..Staraja Kazan."
"In 1552 the Kazan Khanate was conquered by Ivan The Terrible .He began the politics of forced Christianity. And this politics didn't pass without leaving a trace for the people of the village Staroje Tchourilino. In 1505-1508 many Tatars of the village were on the number list of new christened.By 1602-1603 there were 13 courtyards of new christened Tatars.
The church of Kazanskaja Bogoroditsa is one of the sightseeings of the village Staroje Tchourilino. It was built in XIX century. Unfortunately ,the wall's frescoes and the bells were not kept. From 1940 to 1970 the building of church used to be building of the collective farm. From 1970 to 1990 it was rented by KOMZA. And now it is the acting church.
At this long past there were many boyars lived in the village. Pan Novitski Ludvig Kazimirovich was one of them. He divided his lands into 2 parts: boyars' lands and free lands. Up to now there were preserved such names as ,,Barskoje pole, Barski les, Mitkin nos (his son's land)" Pan Novitski was owner of the distillery and the mill.
- In 1889 the church parish school was built in the village Staroje Tchourilino of Arsk District of Kazan Government.
- In 1929 Kommuna was formed, which consist of 13 households.
- In 1931 the collective farm was formed, where 13 households were entered too. The first chairman was K.D. Shikin. ,
Until Great Patriotic War Staroje Tchourilino was one of the biggest villages .which consist of 500 court yards. During the war the people of the village took part in the battle actions and 99 men didn't come back home from the war.
In 70lh the most part of the population moved to the town and there were only 200 court yards in Tchourilino at that time. But since the beginning of 80th the number of court yards began to increase.
Last decade many new buildings and houses were built here. In 1992 new building of culture was built. In 1995 the second floor school was built in the village.
At the present time the people of many nationalities live in Staroje Tchourilino: Russian. Tatars, Armenian, Uzbek, Mary . Our village forms part of ,,OAO Tatarstan." The life in the village is not easy but in spite of the difficulties, people love their village and they love their homeplace - the land where they were born. And our native homeplace is Arsk District of Tatarstan.
-Thank you very much. We have got a lot of information about our native homeplace. I think it was very interesting and useful for us.
Love of Motherland comes to people in different ways. For some people their Motherland begins in a city street. For other people it is their own village or a house in which they have grown up. Usually this place is “the best place in the world”.
Now each of you write one word associating with the word ”Motherland” in a circle.
MOTHERLAND
(Ученики выходят к доске и пишут такие слова, как house, street, school, village, district и т.д.. Один кружочек остается свободным). Now you think about these little places as your Motherland, and only later you will see the whole country behind the word ”Motherland”. Saying an another word our Motherland is our country – Russia.(Учитель подходит к доске и пишет в свободный кружочек слово “country”. Love of your Motherland does not come to you of its own accord. You can love your country. You can know a lot about the history of your country. You have some knowledge of our culture. As you know, it is rich in beautiful songs, music, arts, monuments of the past. And how beautiful is the Russian language!
If you love the culture of your Motherland and are able to see the beauty of the Russian landscape, you certainly love your country. If you enjoy the beauty of Russian architecture and know the Russian language perfectly, you love your country. You know what your Motherland begins with.
Dear friends!
We greet you with open heart, we are glad to meet you.
Welcome to our beautiful land!
