магнитофон, мультимедийный проектор, экран, карточки лото, игрушки.
Lesson.
1. Warm up.
Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls! How are you? Who is on duty today? Are all present at our lesson?
Now let’s begin our lesson.
2. Phonetic drills.
Teacher: First, let’s repeat some sounds (Смотреть >> слайд № 2 – звуки , слайд № 3 – поговорка).
3. Speaking .
Teacher: Today at the lesson we’ll travel to unknown planet. First, we must find the name of this planet and its inhabitants. Let’s do the crossword to find them. Answer my questions. (слайды № 4–11)
- Which animal has got the longest neck? ( a giraffe)
- Which animal is cleverer than a rabbit? (a dog)
- What is the biggest animal? (an elephant)
- What is the kindest animal? (a cat)
- Which animal is faster than a cat? (a tiger)
- Which animal is stronger than a mouse? (a lion)
- What is the smallest animal? (a mouse)
Tell me, please, the name of this planet (adjective). And who lives there? (Animals).
What adjectives did we use to describe these animals?
The longest, cleverer, the biggest, the kindest, faster, stronger, the smallest. (Слайд № 12)
What forms of adjectives are they? (Comparative and superlative, слайд №12)
What suffixes help us to form the comparison? (Comparative – - er, superlative – - est, и обязательно артикль the (слайд №12).
4. Физкультминутка.
1) Let’s do some exercises for your eyes. (Гимнастика для глаз).
2) Stand up. Let’s sing a song “If you are happy” and do exercises.
5. Teacher:
Pupils, find the adjective in this song and tell the comparative and superlative forms.
Pupils:
Happy – happier – the happiest
Teacher:
Tell me, please, do you like animals? Have you got pets? What have you got? Do you think they are happy with you?
Now, look at the screen and say what animal is happier.(слайды №13 – 16)
6. Revising.
Teacher:
1) Well done! Look at the screen. Here you see a word square. Find the adjectives and tell their comparison.(слайд №17)
2) Let’s check up your answers.(слайд №18)
3) You have said that you’ve got pets. Describe them using these adjectives. ( P1, P2, P3…)
4 ) I see you’ve brought animals (toys). Now, make up your own dialogues and compare them.

7. Relaxing.
Teacher:
- Do you remember any poems about animals? (ученики рассказывают стихи о животных).
- Let’s sing a song “Little Pussy”.(слайд №19)
- Find the adjectives in this song and tell their comparison.(слайд №20)
8. Playing games.
I give you cards with the names of animals. On the screen you’ll see their pictures. Cover with a piece of a paper the name of the animal which appears on the screen. Who is the first? Ученикам раздаются карточки с названиями животных. На экране поочередно появляются рисунки, ученики должны закрывать названия животных (слайды №21–22).

2) Find the odd animal.
Now, you’ll see groups of animals. Your task is to find the odd animal and say why.(Найти лишнее животное и объяснить почему (слайды №23–25)
9. Writing.
Teacher:
Open your exercise-books, please. Write down the date. Look at the screen. You see sentences. Your task is to write the correct forms of the adjectives (слайд №26). Be attentive! (Ученики выполняют письменное задание ). Now read the sentences and check up your answers.(слайд №27)
10. Results.
Teacher:
What have we learnt today at the lesson? (T P1, P2, P3…)
11. Homework.
Draw a picture of your favourite animal and describe it using the adjectives and comparison.
