- Обобщение лексико-грамматического материала по теме "The protection of Environment".
- Закрепление всех видов речевой деятельности (чтение, аудирование, говорение, письмо). Приложение 1, приложение 2.
- Отработка навыков работы с текстом.
Задачи:
- Развитие навыков чтения, говорения, аудирования.
- Закрепление грамматического материала.
- Воспитание активной жизненной позиции.
- Повышение интереса к изучению иностранного языка.

- Тема урока, название книги и главы записаны на доске.
- Увеличенная иллюстрация из книги.
- Магнитофон, на каждом ученическом месте – листы с распечатанными текстами и заданиями.

2. Сообщение темы урока, его задач.
3. Чтение I части текста и выполнение:
а) заданий № 1, 2 (ознакомительное чтение)
б) задания № 3 (поисковое чтение)
4. Аудирование II части текста и выполнение задания к нему.
5. Групповая работа с III частью текста (изучающее чтение) и выполнение задания к нему.
6. Работа с IV частью текста.
7. Окончание урока, подведение уроков работы.

2. The theme of today's lesson is "The protection of Environment". I want to suggest to your attention an extract "Fives Walk on Thursday" from the book "Science Experiences Cooperative Learning and the Teaching of Science" by a famous American author, a specialist in the sphere of Science Teaching Methods, Professor Jack Hassard.
This is the illustration of the extract. It is a kind of fiction dealing with ecological problems.
I want you to have some practice in reading, auding, grammar and creative work.
