Важен увлекательный сюжет урока, подборка песен, стихов, пословиц по теме.

Снижает утомляемость и обеспечивает комфортные условия и положительные эмоции учащихся использование спокойной музыки.

Предлагаю вашему вниманию разработку урока по теме: “Времена года. Погода” в 6 классе, построенного на сюжете детской сказки “Двенадцать месяцев” в режиме соревнования. Проведение урока сопровождается музыкой и стихами.

Обобщающий урок по теме “Времена года. Погода”

Задачи:

1. Образовательные:

  • Закрепить лексический материал по теме: “Времена года. Погода” в памяти учащихся;
  • Способствовать формированию умений и навыков школьников монологической речи;
  • Формировать орфографические навыки и навыки аудирования;
  • Формировать актерские навыки.

2. Развивающие:

  • Развивать способности к зрительной дифференциации, непроизвольному запоминанию, догадке о значении слов.

3. Воспитательные:

  • Воспитывать способность работать в малых группах;
  • Повысить интерес учащихся к изучению английского языка.

Ход урока

The Twelve Months

Once upon a time there lived a young girl. She lived with her father and her stepmother. She had a stepsister. The stepmother and her daughter hated the girl. They made her go to the forest and brought snowdrops. The girl met twelve men in the forest. They were twelve months of the year. They asked her:“Tell us, please, which is the most beautiful month of the year? ” The young girl liked all months. The Twelve Months were glad:

January brings the snow

Makes our feet and fingers glow.

February brings the rain,

Thaws the frozen lake again.

March brings breezes loud and shrill

To stir the dancing daffodil.

April brings the primrose sweet

Scatters, daisies at our feet.

May brings flocks of pretty lambs

Skipping by their fleecy damps.

June brings tulips, lilies, roses

Fills the children’s hands with posies.

Hot July brings cooling showers,

Apricots and gilly flowers.

August brings the sheaves of corn

Then the harvest home is born.

Warm September brings the fruit,

Sportsmen then begin to shoot.

Fresh October brings the pheasant,

Then to gather nuts is pleasant.

Dull November brings the blast,

Then the leaves are whirling fast.

Chill December brings the sleet,

Blazing fire and christmas treat.”

Then the Twelve Months decided to have a competition: “What is the most important season?”

They made 4 groups: “Winter”, “Spring” , “Summer” and “Autumn”

Round 1. Introduction of the season (учащиеся рассказывают о своем времени года).

Visual aids: Cards (4) –seasons; Cards (12)- months; Pictures.

Round 2. Crossword (уже дан с ответами, оставить выделенные буквы).

The winner will be the team that finishes the work earlier.

Round 3. A poem.

Write a poem:

I like__________ ,

And what about you?

The winner will be the team that gives the best variant of the poem.

Round 4. A word-game.

Make words from the letters of a long word:

Visual aids: The card: FORECAST

The answer: are, cat, cost, rest, forest, for, sort, or, rat, fat. Etc.

The winner is the team that finds the largest number of words.

Round 5. Riddles.

This is the season,
When fruit is sweet.
This is the season,
When school-friends meet.

/Autumn/

I come with cold and snow
But you like me and know.

/Winter/

A little old woman with 12 children: some short, some long, some cold, some hot. What is it?

/A year/

In winter and in summer they stand in one colour. What are they?

And the Sun is high and strong.

This is the season,
When yellow leaves
Fall down from the trees.
