ХОД УРОКА

I. Организационный момент

Учитель задает вопросы. Ученики отвечают на них.

Учитель: What’s the date today?

Ученик: Today is the 25th of November.

Учитель: What day of the week is it today?

Ученик: It’s Thursday today.

Учитель: What day is before Thursday?

Ученик: it’s Wednesday.

Учитель: What day is after Thursday?

Ученик: It’s Friday.

Учитель: What is the weather like today?

Ученик: It’s cold (frosty, windy, cloudy).

II. Phonetic exercises

Учитель: Dear children! I will give the stripes to you for correct answers.

Учитель в течение урока дает цветные полоски бумаги (зеленые, красные, синие, желтые) за правильный ответ ученика по каждому виду деятельности.

III. Учитель: Now continue warming up our vocabulary. Complete the crossword.

  1. You wear it on your body in cold weather.
  2. Girls wear it on their bodies in hot weather.
  3. You wear them on your feet.
  4. You wear it on your head.
  5. Boys wear it on their bodies in warm weather.
  6. Boys and girls wear blue…. now.
  7. You wear them on your feet in hot weather.

Учитель: Children! Who can guess the theme of our lesson?

Ученик: The theme of our lesson is “Clothes”.

IV. Name the things in plural form

Учитель показывает картинки и называет цвет этого предмета. Ученики называют эти вещи во множественном числе.

Учитель: They are brown.

Ученик: These boots are brown.

Учитель: They are red and yellow.

Ученик: These sandals are yellow.

Учитель: They are blue.

Ученик: These jeans are blue.

Учитель: They are yellow and brown.

Ученик: These socks are yellow and brown.

Учитель: They are green.

Ученик: These trousers are green.

Учитель: They are black.

Ученик: These gloves are black.

Учитель: They are green and orange.

Ученик: These mittens are green and orange.

За каждый правильный ответ ученик получает цветные полоски.

V. Учитель: Let’s work in pairs. Ask each other questions about your clothes. What do you wear on your body, head, hands and feet in cold / warm / hot weather.

Вопросы и ответы учеников:

What do you wear on your head? – A hat.
What do you wear on your feet? – Shoes.
What do you wear on your hands? – Gloves.
What do you wear when it’s cold? – A sweater.
What do you wear when it’s warm? – Shorts.

За каждый правильный ответ ученики получают цветные полоски.

VI. Let’s relax

На доске – четыре футболки, вырезанные из картона. На футболках текст:

1). His sweater is brown
His jacket is grey
His jeans are blue
Guess who! Guess who!

2). Her blouse is red
Her shoes are black
Her skirt is blue
Guess who! Guess who!

3). She is wearing socks and sandals
And a blue hat
Who’s that? Who’s that?

4). She is wearing trousers and a sweater
With a big black cat
Who’s that? Who’s that?

Четыре ученика одеты в одежду по описанию на футболках. Они выходят к доске и каждый ученик читает текст на футболках, а ученики за партами должны догадаться, одежда какого ученика соответствует описанию.

VII. Now look at these girls and compare them.

На доске цветные картинки двух девочек с противоположными описательными характеристиками.

Ученики:

Kate is more beautiful than Ann.
Ann is thinner than Kate.
Kate is taller than Ann.
Kate’s skirt is shorter than Ann’s.
Ann’s hair is longer than Kate’s.
Ann’s boots are bigger than Kate’s.

За правильный ответ ученики получают полоски.

VIII. Let’s listen to the passage from the text and complete the missing words.

Ученики получают карточки с отрывками из текста (упражнение 9 стр.73 УМК Верещагина И.Н., Притыкина Т.А. 3 класс). Слушают текст, записанный носителем языка и записывают пропущенные слова (trousers, boots, mittens, gloves)

Карточка:

Fred and his little sister Peg went for a walk. It was a cold day. Fred put on his warm brown _______________, a sweater, a cap, a jacket, warm___________ and _________. Peg put on a warm sweater, blue jeans, an overcoat, high boots, a warm cap and ___________. They took their dog Rover with them. The dog didn’t have a coat or boots on soon he was very cold. Rover wanted to go home.

Подсчет цветных полосок, анализ урока и выставление оценок.

Reader – lesson 11, p.37 – 38.
