Text 1.

I want to tell you some words about my friends. Her name was Ann. She was a real friend. We had much in common . She had a heart of gold. She was easy to deal with. She had good manners. She was tactful and polite . I had never heard her cry on me. I was always sure of her. We never separated with her. Now she is far from me and I miss her badly.

Exercise 9. Read the text, underline the words and word-combination about the character of a person

When I was a little boy I went to school. I can’t say that I had a lot of friends. I was selfish. I could think only about my own wishes and I thought too little of other people. I wasn’t rude to them . But I considered nobody but myself. They say I was hard to deal with. When I grew up I changed . Now I have a lot of friends because I always help people when I can.

Exercise 10. Make up your own story, using these words and word-combination .

Story 1.

Story 2.
