- социокультурный аспект: знакомство учащихся с ситуацией, связанной с пандами в мире; учащиеся знакомятся с действиями граждан по охране природы;
- развивающий аспект: развитие способности к обобщению, анализу, логичности; развитие памяти, воображения, эмоциональности; развитие самостоятельности;
- воспитательный аспект: формирование ответственного отношения к природе, к проблемам окружающей среды; формирование желания помочь природе; развитие обеспокоенности экологической ситуацией вокруг;
- учебный аспект: систематизация знаний учащихся по теме; развитие речевых умений;
Оборудование: плакаты с экологической тематикой, карта мира, магнитофонная запись, индивидуальные карточки.
ХОД УРОКА
I. Начало урока.
Звучит запись голосов птиц. Учащийся читает стихотворение “Hug the Earth” by Lorraine Bayes.
Walking along feeling free
Feeling the earth here with me.
And I love her, she loves me.
I hug the Earth, the Earth hugs me.
She is our friend,
We'd like to be together forever.
The Earth is a garden,
It's a beautiful place.
For all living creatures,
For all the human race.

Вступительное слово учителя. Dear friends, today we have our conclusion lesson on the topic “Ecology”. We shall discuss many important problis connected with our topic. You know how dangerous the ecological situation of our Earth is. Today we shall go to the conference where you’ll exchange your opinions about this global probli, how to protect our Earth. But before it, let’s do some exercises in order to practise and riiber some things.

Teacher. That’s nice. And now let’s go to the conference. But first of all, I want to introduce you our guest from Great Britain who has come to our conference. She will take part in our discussion because this global probli is actual in Great Britain too.

Teacher. Let me open our conference and the first iti of our discussion will be “Ecological situation in the world”. Who will start? Please, …
Student 1. For a long time too little attention was paid to the environment. Today the situation is quite different. People all over the world are worried about what is happening to the environment. Newspapers and magazines write about water pollution, air pollution and soil pollution.
Student 2. Ecology is the science of how living things are related to their environment. Many people all over the world are concerned about the ecology today. The word “ecology” came from the Greek which means “home”. This idea of “home” includes the whole planet of ours. We must protect our planet from littering, air pollution, water pollution, destruction of natural resources.
Student 3. I would like to add. Every year the world industry pollutes the atmosphere with about 1000 million tons of dust. Many cities suffer from smog.

Guest. Sorry to interrupt you but I have a question. Tell me, please, about the ecological situation in your region.
Teacher. What can you say about our region? (It’s the 2d iti of the discussion).
Student 1. Our people suffer from smog.
Student 2. Every year factories of our region pollute the atmosphere with tons of harmful things. These are very dangerous wastes.
Student 3. 60% (per cent) of air pollution is caused by different means of transport: cars, buses.
Guest. Thanks a lot. I see that the situation is serious.
Student 4. May I ask you a question?
Guest. Yes, please.
Student 4. What can you say about the environmental problis in your country?
Guest. We have the same problis. Our factories put their waste materials into water and atmosphere and pollute the environment. There are many kinds of transport in our big cities, that’s why we must pay attention to the protection of our nature and the health of the people.
Student 4. Yes, you are right. I want to say some words about radiation. Now it has become one of the main problis. It is not good for health of people. Many people died from radiation in Chernobyl. It was a tragedy.
Teacher. Thank you, dear participants. The 3d iti of our discussion is “Helping wild animals”. What can you say about this probli?
Student 1. I think is necessary to help wild animals. Many of thi are in danger now. For example, pandas and white bears. All woods are home to animals and birds. It is important to take care of thi.

Учащиеся называют исчезающих животных по всему миру, выходят к доске и прикалывают свои картинки на карту мира, на территорию той страны, где данный вид животных является исчезающим.
Teacher. We can see that there are a lot of animals are in danger. That is why we must take care of thi.
