All four children enjoy playing tennis. There is a tennis court near their house and they like going there at weekends. Joseph and the two girls like going swimming. Daniel doesn’t like swimming at all. He thinks swimming pools are always too crowded and the sea is too cold.
Daniel doesn’t mind the cold when he is skiing. He loves skiing. He went on a skiing holiday with his family last year and had a wonderful time. Anna can ski too but she doesn’t like it very much. She broke her leg when she went skiing last year. Neither Joseph nor Mary has ever been skiing. They say they don’t want even to try. They don’t think skiing is a sport for them.
Daniel and Mary love horses and often go riding. Anna went riding once but fell off and broke her arm. Now she doesn’t like riding at all, Joseph prefers football, tennis or swimming to riding horses.
