Урок английского языка по теме "Идеальное место для путешествия. Где оно?" (8-й класс)

Цели урока.

Образовательные: совершенствовать коммуникативную компетенцию обучающихся по теме “Путешествие”.

Воспитательные: воспитывать чувство взаимопомощи и внимания друг к другу при работе в группах и терпимое отношение к мнению других людей при ведении дискуссии.

Развивающие: развивать способность осуществлять продуктивные и репродуктивные речевые умения, способность к логическому изложению, догадку, творческое воображение.

1. Применять изученную лексику по теме “Путешествие” в новой ситуации.
2. Разработать мини-проект по теме “Идеальное место для путешествия”.

1. Воспринимать на слух и понимать основную информацию по изучаемой теме.
2. Выражать и обосновывать своё отношение к путешествиям в разные места.
3. Работать в группах.
4. Разрабатывать мини-проект по теме урока.
5. Вести монологическую и диалогическую речь по теме “Путешествия”.

Формы организации работы детей: фронтальная, индивидуальная и парная.

Функции работы учителя: контролирующая, обучающая, оценивающая, мотивирующая.

Технологические особенности урока: использование метода проектов и ИКТ.

Технические условия: кабинет иностранного языка с мультимедийной установкой.

Используемое оборудование: компьютер, проекционный аппарат, экран.

Разработанные или используемые цифровые образовательные ресурсы: самостоятельно разработанная презентация в Power Point.

1. Организационный момент.

Good morning my dear boys and girls! I am very glad to see you today! I wish you good work and good luck during our lesson. So, how are you today? What about your mood?

(Дети отвечают используя выражение: on the one hand…, on the other hand…)

• Thank you for your answers. Now have a look at this slide (Слайд №1)

Can you tell me what topic we have been discussing during some lessons? Yes, right you are! Traveling!

• Why traveling is important for people? (Слайд №2)

• What is the best way for traveling? (Слайд №3)

• Have you ever traveled to the other cities or countries? What have you seen there?

• I am sure, that traveling expands our outlook.

• I think that people travel only for pleasure.

• Believe or not, but to travel alone is better!

3. Целеполагание, постановка проблемы.

Now I suggest you to determine the theme of our lesson. Have a look at this slide. (Слайд №7) Here you can see different pictures of different places, tell me your ideas about our theme, please. (Варианты ответов)

You are almost right. Today we shall try to solve this problem and to answer this question. “An ideal place for traveling…Where is it?”

But it is very difficult to do it ourselves. That’s why I invited the representatives of the tourist agency “Visoky touristic” and they will help and tell us where it is better to travel. (Слайд №8)

Of course, you understand, that you yourselves will be the representatives of this agency and you will work in three groups and each group should do the part of our project “An ideal place for traveling…Where is it?” You should prepare the information for the advertisement board of the travel agency, and then somebody from your group will present your work to everybody. You will listen to their information and then you will be able to ask any questions you like. (Обучающиеся вытягивают конверты с заданием для их части проекта: горы, пустыня, северный полюс.)

Now you have 10-15 minutes for your work.

4. Планирование и выполнение работы по составлению проекта “Идеальное место для путешествия. … Где оно?”

(Обучающиеся работают, учитель консультирует, наблюдает за работой, оказывает необходимую помощь.)

5. Презентация проекта-рекламы.

Обучающиеся представляют свои работы – выступают руководители групп или все участники группы.

• Where can I buy this tour?
• Is the desert/ mountains/ North Pole really the best place for traveling?

6. Оценка проекта и собственной деятельности обучающимися.

So we have listened to all information about different places. Now what can you tell me about the ideal place for traveling according to your mind? (Мнения детей)

I think that all people have different opinion in different situations. And there are sayings “So many people so many ideas” and “Tastes differ” How do you understand them?

• Whose advertisement is the best? Why?

• Now what about your mood at the end of the lesson? Did you like our lesson? Why? Why not?

• Was this lesson useful for you?

• Now evaluate your participation during the lesson according the list of evaluation.
