Цель урока: Сохранить память о победе нашей страны, показать значимость подвига советского народа в годы ВОВ, развивать свое представление о себе, о родине, героях.
Задачи урока:

- активизировать лексические единицы, словообразовательные и читательские навыки обучающихся по теме ВОВ.

- развивать языковую догадку, логическое и творческое мышление, память, навыки работы с информацией, функциональную грамотность обучающихся.
Познавательные: формировать учебно-познавательный интерес к учебному материалу.
Воспитательные:
- воспитание у подрастающего поколения нравственности, патриотизма, гражданственности ,чувства гордости за свою страну , любви к родине, готовности уважительно и бережно относиться к историческому наследию и культурным традициям своего народа.

1. Организационный момент
Приветствие Знакомство с темой урока.
(учитель предлагает познакомить обучающихся с выставкой книг военных лет , портретами героев ВОВ ,девизом урока , послушать голос Левитана и сообщить тему данного урока. (T-S),
T: Good day, friends! I'm glad to see you today at the lesson and suggest you to listen to Levitan.
Т: Now it will help us name the theme of our lesson. What are we going to talk about?
S1: We're going to talk about partisans and heroes.
S2: We're going to talk about great war battles.
S3: Тhe 78th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War
T: Well done I think that you've already understood that the theme of our lesson will be Victory Day. Victory Day is a wonderful holiday different from all other holidays. It is a national holiday at the same time it is a very personal.
Young generations know about the Great Patriotic War only from books and films. But we should never forget those who gave their lives for our Motherland.
I have many associations with this word.
For example, June 22nd, 1941; German invasion, front, tragedy.
T: What about you?
S1: The Red Army, enemy.
S2: Victory, May 9th, 1945.
T: So, our lesson is devoted to the Great Patriotic War. Since then 75 years have passed. Do we need to remember about this War?
S: Yes, we do.
T: Why?
S1: We shouldn't forget about the national feat.
S2: We cultivate love for the motherland.
S3: We want to live in peace.

T: You're right. There are many reasons why… But I think, we should remember the Great Patriotic War because we're its grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Victory Day
The 9th of May is a special day for all Russian people. This is Victory Day. This is the day when the Great Patriotic War finished (this is how they call in Russia ;the World War II).
For the Soviet Union, the war started on the 22nd of June 1941. A day before, on the 21st of June, in all schools of the country there was a party - the last school ball. Girls and boys had just finished school. They were dancing, dreaming of the future and did not know that the following day, they would go to war and never come home again.
For the Soviet Union the war lasted for 4 years. It was a very hard time for everyone. In many cities and villages there was starvation. Millions of Soviet soldiers died in this war. But they won and became heroes to every Russian person. We honour the memory of heroes. They were brave men, women and even children. Like adults, children defended our Homeland, sacrificing their own lives. Their names are : Lenya Golikov, Volodya Dubinin, Zoya Kozmodemyanskaya.We will always remember 10 famous military commanders: G. Zukov. K. Voroshilov. K. Rokossovskiy. We are proud of brave soldiers who defended such Hero-cities as Orel, Smolensk, Tula, Sevastopol, Moscow, Volgograd.
Since then 75 years have passed. But Russian people do not forget their heroes. In every city concerts are held in honour of the Great Patriotic War. In Moscow in the Red Square you can see a big parade. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren thank veterans for freedom.
The peoples of the USSR sacrificed the lives of 27 million sons and daughters to the victory. The state suffered huge damage which amounted to 2,469 billion rubles (in pre-war prices). The war left its mark on the lives of millions of people not only in our country, but in the whole world as well.
