Good morning, my friends! I’m very glad to see you.

Today we continue studying The Passive Voice.

At the lesson we’ll revise the rule itself, do the exercises, write a short test and practice passive constructions in oral speech.

But first of all let’s warm-up a bit.

Don’t troubletrouble till trouble troubles you.

He speaks Chinese and Japanese with equal ease.

As I was getting along, along, along,

And singing a comical song, song, song,

The lane that I went was long, long, long,

And the song that I sang was long, long, long,

And so I went singing a song.

The train and its trucks are trapped by a tree-trunk across the track.

At the previous lesson we read a poem and now I’d like to check how you’ve learnt it. You’re welcome...(children recite the poem)

A man is made
Of flesh and blood
Of eyes and bones and water.
The very same things make his son
As those that make
His daughter.

A tree is made
Of leaf and sap,
Of bark and fruit and berries
It keeps a bird's nest

Planned smooth as milk. I wonder
If tables ever dream of sun,

And when man takes
His axe and strikes
And sets the sawdust flying -
Is it a table being born?
Or just a tree that's dying?

Hans: Hi! I'm Hans, I'm from Germany. I learn English at school in Berlin. I can read English books and newspapers. But I have some problems with listening and speaking English.
