Цель: обобщение учебного материала по теме «Биографии знаменитых мореплавателей».

Задачи:

  • образовательная (дидактическая): расширение словарного запаса учащихся, формирование речевых умений и навыков
  • развивающая:  развитие умений и навыков разных видов речевой деятельности (аудирование, говорение, чтение, письмо); умений творческой деятельности, развитие  памяти, внимания, мышления
  • воспитательная – осуществление эстетического воспитания студентов, формирование позитивно-ориентированной личности, приобщение к культуре страны изучаемого языка., повышение мотивации изучения иностранного языка и интереса к будущей профессии

Оборудование: компьютер, интерактивная доска, использовались программы Power Point, Movie Maker

План урока

1. Начальный этап: вступительное слово

2. Фонетичесая и лексическая зарядка

а) назвать синонимы
б) назвать антонимы
с) образовать другие части речи от предложенных слов

3. Основной этап

а) назвать знаменитых мореплавателей
б)  просмотр видеофильма «Кристофер Колумб»
в)  выбрать правильный ответ на вопрос
г) сделать доклад от группы о знаменитом мореплавателе
д) заполнить таблицу, используя услышанную информацию о мореплавателях

– Good morning,  everyone. Today we’ll speak about  the famous seamen and travellers. Let’s repeat the words which help  us to understand our theme

а) Give synonyms –  example: big  – large  (Презентация 1)
sailor (seaman), captain (master),  voyage (trip, travelling), small piece of land washed by water (island)

b) give antonyms – example: near – far, good – bad
island (continent), South (north), round (oval, square, flat), to die (to be born), East (West), to cover (to discover)

c) make other parts of speech  – example: beauty – beautiful, to teach – teacher
navigation (to navigate, a navigator), to know (known), to explore (an explorer, exploration),  spice (spicy), to prove (proof), traveller (to travel, travelling)

2. Main part

а) One of the most  known and unlucky seaman is considered to be Christopher Columbus. Watch the film and choose the correct answer  (Презентация 2)
