Сцена украшена портретами Майкла Джексона, фотографиями обложек его альбомов. Концерт сопровождается презентацией с отрывками видеоклипов, фотографиями разных лет, эпизодами из концертов Майкла и словами наиболее популярных песен, чтобы зал мог подпевать.

Концерт ведут два ведущих, которые рассказывают о жизни и творчестве Майкла, а также про его благотворительную деятельность.

Наиболее пластичные ребята ставят танцевальные номера, разучивают знаменитую “лунную походку”. Опираясь на видеоклипы, можно создать костюмы к каждому номеру.

Участники концерта вправе самостоятельно выбирать песни и исполнять их соло, дуэтом, или хором. Нами учитывалась лишь хронология появления песен, за исключением номера ''Thriller'', который открывал концерт с целью заинтересовать, заинтриговать зрителя.

Presenter 1 Michael Jackson was one of those rare human beings who can truly be described as a legend along with Elvis Presley and John Lennon. He was just fifty when he died, yet had become a superstar by the time he was eleven.

Presenter 2 Michael’s death surged a new wave of interest towards his songs and it seems he is becoming an icon singer among the new generation of teenagers.

THRILLER

Presenter 1 A performer since the age of five, Michael Jackson is one of the most popular singers in history. Through his record albums and music videos he created an image imitated by millions of his fans. His 1983 album, Thriller, sold forty million copies, making it the biggest seller of all time. Thriller fully established Jackson as a solo performer, and his hit songs from the album "Beat It," "Billie Jean," and "Thriller" made him the major pop star of the early 1980s.

Presenter 2 The success of Thriller and the videos of its songs also helped Jackson break the color barrier imposed by radio stations and the powerful music video channel MTV. By 1983 Jackson was the single most popular entertainer in America. But how did it all begin?

HAPPY

Presenter 1 Michael Joe Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana, on August 29, 1958, the fifth of Joe and Katherine Jackson's nine children. The house was always filled with music. Jackson's mother taught the children folk and religious songs, to which they sang along. Jackson's father, who worked at a steel plant, had always dreamed of becoming a successful musician. When this failed to happen, he decided to do whatever it took to make successes of his children.

Presenter 2 The Jackson boys soon formed a family band that became a success at amateur shows and talent contests throughout the Midwest. From the age of five Michael's amazing talent showed itself. His dancing and stage presence caused him to become the focus of the group. A musical prodigy, Michael's singing and dancing talents were amazingly mature, and he soon became the dominant voice and focus of The Jackson 5.

MORNING GLOW

Presenter 1 The Jacksons' fame and popularity soon began to spread. By 1970 the group, known as the Jackson Five, was topping the charts and riding a wave of popularity with such hits as "ABC," "The Love You Save," and "I'll Be There," each of which sold over one million copies.

In 1978 Michael Jackson appeared in The Wiz, an African American version of The Wizard of Oz. He sang the only hit from the film's soundtrack album in a duet with the star, Diana Ross. His success as the Scarecrow was a preview of what was to come in his videos, for Jackson seemed to care most about dancing.

Presenter 2 Jackson popularized a number of physically complicated dance techniques, such as the robot and the moonwalk. Later he chose Moonwalk as a title of his autobiography.

BILLIE JEAN

Presenter 1 Referred to as the King of Pop Michael Jackson is the most commercially successful and one of the most influential entertainers of all the time. His unique contributions to music, dance and fashion made him a prominent global figure in popular culture for four decades.

Presenter 2 His distinctive musical sound, vocal style and choreography is credited with stretching across and breaking down cultural, racial, economic, global barriers has inspired countless pop, rock, R&B and hip hop artists.

Presenter 1 Michael Jackson is also known as a real humanitarian who was concerned of many global problems. In 1992 Michael founded "Heal the World Foundation." The charity organization sent millions of dollars around the globe to help children threatened by war, poverty and disease, to aid children and the environment. All profits from the concerts went to the Heal the World Foundation, raising millions of dollars.

HEAL THE WORLD

Presenter 1 In 1993 Jackson was presented with the "Living Legend Award" at the Grammy Awards ceremony and with the Humanitarian of the Year trophy at the Soul Train awards.

EARTH SONG

Presenter 2 On the 13th of February, 2010, the recording of the new version of the worldwide known ‘WE ARE THE WORLD” was released by a new generation of artists of the USA and Europe.

The celebrities gathered to rerecord the song which had been written by Michael Jackson to benefit millions of people in Haiti, after a catastrophic earthquake.

Presenter 1 The original ‘WE ARE THE WORLD’ was recorded 25 years ago and generated over 30 million dollars to help people in Africa.
