Цели:

  • активировать речемыслительную деятельность;

I. Good morning dear children and dear guests! I think you are ready, for our lesson and have a good mood. Our today’s lesson is dedicated to music. It’s impossible to live without music. It’s everywhere” in our hearts, in our feelings.

I know everybody likes music, some people enjoy classical music, and others are fond of pop music. For many of them music is a voice, for the way to relax and have fun. So many people, so many opinions. Let the music begin!

II. Now, listen to music, relax and have a good mood.

V. The world of music is rich and varied, isn’t it? Now, listen to the music, match the musical terms and definitions.

1) reggae a) A style of music that was popular especially in the 1950s but it is still played now. It has a strong, loud beat and is usually played on electrical instruments.
2) blues b) A style of music that has a strong loud beat and played on electric guitars with great effort or energy.
3) hard rock c) A musical style where the singer speaks or shouts the words.
4) rap d) A slow, popular song telling, a story about loneliness, sadness or lost love.
5) romantic ballad e) A type of music that has its origins in America’s black community. Most songs are about sadness or lost love, sometimes the words express a humorous reaction to life’s troubles.
6) rock’n’roll f) West Indians popular music and dance with strong rhythms.
