1. ПРИВЕТСТВИЕ
T: Good morning, children! I am glad to see you. How are you, children?
Речевая разминка (проводится в форме T-P1, P2, P3) .
What’s the date today? What day of the week is today? What’s the season? What is the weather like today? Guess the riddle, please:

P1: The 12 months of the year.
T: Today we shall speak about seasons and months. What seasons do you know, children?
P1: There are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn and winter.
P2:
Spring is green,
Summer is bright,
Autumn is yellow,
Winter is white!
P3:
Winter brings us snowflakes,
Spring- green buds and shoots.
Summer brings us berries,
Autumn- golden fruits.
T: What is your favourite season? Why?
P4: My favourite season is autumn. It’s a beautiful season. The leaves in the trees are red, yellow, brown and green. It is warm in September. I am glad to see my friends at school after the long summer holidays. In autumn there are lot of vegetables and fruits. I like pears, grapes and watermelon. They are tasty.
T: My next riddle, please guess it: This is the season
When fruit is sweet,
This is the season
When school-friends meet.
P5: It’s autumn.
Autumn, autumn, autumn!
The summer is over,
The trees are bare,
There is mist in the garden
And frost in the air.
P6: I don’t like autumn. It’s a dull season. I don’t like when it rains. In October it is cold and often rains. We can’t go for a walk. The days are shorter than in summer and the sky is grey.
I like summer. Summer is a bright season. The trees are green. It’s hot and I can swim in the river. I can play outdoors all day long, and I don’t go to school. We have the longest vacation in summer.
P7: I like summer too. Summer is the hottest season of the year. In summer the sun shines bright and flowers bloom everywhere. We can lie in the sun, bathe, walk in the woods and fields.
Summer, summer, summer!
The sun is shining,

T: Guess the next riddle:
A shiny white bedspread
Was lying on the Earth.
The summer came
And it went away.
What is it?
P8: It’s snow. My favourite season is winter. Winter is beautiful. The trees are white with snow. There is a lot of snow in the streets and in the park. My friends and I can play snowballs, we can make a snowman. I have a good time in winter.

Winter, winter, winter!
The snow is falling,
The wind is blowing,
The ground is white
All day and all night.
P10:
See the pretty snowflakes
Falling from the sky;
On the walls and housetops
Soft and thick they lie.
P11: I don’t like winter. It’s so cold in winter. It often snows. The sky is gray. You can’t go to the forest to gather berries and mushrooms. You can’t swim in the river. The days are short and the nights are long.
T: And what season do you like?
P11: I like spring. Spring is a beautiful season. The sun often shines, the sky is blue, the birds sing songs. In May the trees and grass are bright green. There are many beautiful flowers in May. We can go for a walk and we can play a lot outdoors.

Grey winter’s gone away,
The world looks new and gay.
T: Well, children. I think, all seasons are good and beautiful.
