Одним из эффективных средств создания коммуникативной направленности на уроке иностранного языка и во внеклассной работе является игра. На начальной ступени обучения она служит необходимым компонентом урока и кружковой работы.
Обучающие игры помогают сделать процесс обучения иностранному языку интересным и творческим. Они дают возможность создать атмосферу увлеченности и снимают усталость у детей. Чувство равенства и радости, ощущение посильности задачи – все это дает возможность преодолеть стеснительность, незаметно усваивается языковой материал, возникает чувство удовлетворения, уверенности в своих силах.
Данное мероприятие предназначается для начинающих изучать английский язык.
«Поле Чудес»

Dear parents, boys and girls and teachers! We are glad to meet you at our game.
How do you do, everybody!
Our game is called «The field of Wonders».
The rules of the game are the following.
There are 8 sectors on our field. You can see 7 numbers there and sector «Prize». Sector «Prize» means that you’ll get a prize, that’s clear.
That is the most interesting and pleasant sector, isn’t it? But getting there you must choose – game or prize. If you take the prize, you can not continue the game.
Now about zero sector. It means, that you have lost the lead and you can not call a letter.
And a few words about the numbers. Number 1 means that you can say 1 letter, number 2-2 letters, number 6-6 letters. That’s all about the rules. Let us get started.
Our game is devoted to a great Russian poet A.S. Pushkin. We shall speak about his creation. I’ll read you an extract from one of his poems in Russian and you are to name this poem in English.
