Aim of the lesson: By the end of the lesson pupils will be able to speak about the Pros and Cons of using the Internet (Приложение).

3 m.	– Do you use the Internet? If not, would you like to? Which of these things do you (or would you like to) use the Internet for? Read the statements and say. (ex. 11 p. 107)	Individual work.	Purposes: to introduce the topic to encourage spontaneous speaking to practice vocabulary
4 m.	– Read the list of points about the Internet advantages and mark them A (advantage) or D (disadvantage). (ex. 12 p. 107)	Individual work.	Purpose: to use the text for expressing opinions
5 m.	– Using the example act out short dialogues in pairs. Express your opinion. (ex. 12 p. 107)	Pair	Purpose: to teach expressing own opinion
5 m.	– Read the article and fill in the gaps with words and phrases from the list. (ex. 13 a p. 107)	Individual work.	Purpose: use of English
3 m.	– Listen and check your answers. (ex. 13 b p. 107)	Lock-step	Purpose: to practice listening for specific purpose: checking the right answers
4 m.	– Read the article again and answer the questions, then explain the words in bold. (ex. 13 c p. 107)	Individual work. Lock-step	Purpose: to elicit new vocabulary
10 m.	– And now watch the presentation about the Pros and Cons of using the Internet. After watching be ready to answer the question: What do you think of using the Internet?	Lock-step Individual work.	Purpose: to practice functional language and new vocabulary
