English Quest Adventure

Form: 5, «Spotlight-5»

The aim:

• Creation of a system of students' skills and abilities.

Quest game

The quest includes several tasks. The team receives a certain number of points. According to the rules, the team goes through all the stations in turn. Whose team gets the most points, wins. English Quest Adventure lasts 60 min

The quest game will take place at the school's classrooms.

Equipment: task cards, A4 sheets for completing tasks, video tasks.

T: Good morning, dear friends! I am very glad to see you. Now I want you to divide into four groups. I will give you the tasks. Whose team completes the tasks faster, that team will win the quest.

Task 1. "Forming the words"

The students must form as many short words as possible from the one long word. I will give you 5 minutes to complete this task. Each correctly composed word earns the team 1 point. («Appendix №1»)

Task 2. "A natural habitat of the animals"

The students should choose the locations where each of the animals live. The task should be completed in 5 minutes. Each correctly answer earns the team 1 point. («Appendix №2»)
