Урок английского языка в начальной школе на тему "Water is great wealth"

Цель урока: формирование навыков устной речи по теме.

Задачи урока:

  • Предметные:дети обогащают свой словарный запас, расширяют свой кругозор.
  • Личностные: имеют желание учиться, проявляют интерес к предмету.
  • Метапредметные:
    • регулятивные: принимают поставленную цель и практическую задачу, оценивают себя и своих одноклассников;  
    • познавательные: устанавливают связь между объемом знаний, умений и проектных умений;
    •  коммуникативные: оформляют свои мысли в устной речи, слушают и понимают друг друга поддерживать интерес к изучению английского языка; воспитывать чувство дружбы и взаимопомощи.

Оснащение урока: компьютер, распечатка текста для чтения по количеству учащихся, изображения водоемов, загрязнений, плакат, презентация в PowerPoint, распечатка домашнего задания для тех детей, кто не может выполнить онлайн.

Ход урока

I. Вводный этап

Teacher: Hello, my friends! I’ m glad to see you again. How are you today? I think everything is Ok.

Teacher: Today we are having a very interesting lesson. Look at the pictures and guess the topic of the lesson.

(На доске развешены картинки по теме «Загрязнения воды». «Всемирный  День Воды» и называют тему Water)

II. Основной этап

Teacher: Yes, you are right. We will talk about water. We'll remember some facts about water; you'll tell us what you know about water, we'll learn much interesting. Why do we speak about water today? You may speak Russian and English.

(дети высказываются, с помощью плаката обращаются к дате – Всемирный день воды)

Teacher: You’re right. Today is the World Water Day. Now listen to the proverb

«Water is great wealth». Try to translate it into Russian.

Teacher: Let`s remember the words connected with water

  • wash the dishes – мыть посуду
  • wash the linen – стирать белье
  • water the flowers – поливать цветы
  • water – вода
  • water the garden – поливать сад
  • mineral water – минеральная вода
  • drinkwater – пить воду
  • underwater – под водой

Teacher: The planet Earth is mostly water. There are a lot of rivers, seas and lakes.

What types of waters do you know?

Teacher: After water we must keep our eyes healthy. Let’s do excises

One, two, three, four.
Look at the window, look at the door,
Look at the ceiling, look at the floor.
One, two, three, four.

Teacher: and we continue. Read the text about World Water Day.

People cannot live without water. We need water every day. We drink it. We cook soup. We make tea. We need it for washing the dishes, washing the linen, watering flowers and vegetables.

Our country is rich in water. It has a lot of long rivers, deep lakes and big seas. The Amur is one of the longest rivers in Russia. People swim in the river. They go fishing. Water makes us healthy.

But people pollute water. They leave much litter on the bank of the river. Factories and plants throw dirty things into the water. It smells bad. Fish cannot live in the dirty rivers and lakes.

Clean water is great wealth. We must keep the water clean. That’s why we have World Day for Water. It is observed on the 22nd of March.
